Vegan only pub! What a great idea. - Edit
Great this place exists. It has a feeling of a traditional pub, but with a quirky edge. Went on a Sunday (where the menu is Sunday roasts only). The mains were okay - nothing wow about it but it was good. The dessert was exceptional. Will come again on another night to check out their regular menu.

Delicious vegan Sunday roast - Edit
The food was very good, also the sides of a cheesy leak and a quiche. The location was not completely our style, but had Charme and the waiter was very nice up until the end where we noticed they really wanted us to leave (we were there for 60 min only, so we could not really understand why they rushed so much). Also we booked the table days in advance to get a spot😄

Fully vegan pub! - Edit
Wow, just wow.
Read moreHeard about this pub via an ad on Facebook and thought we'd do the trek from South London. We were NOT disappointed.
We had pie and mash and Korean burger. (I tried both 😋) Absolutely delicious and will definitely be going back.
Also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert (with coconut ice cream!) so good.
A must visit for any vegan or non vegan alike.
Pros: Fully vegan pub
Cons: Nothing ☺️

Passable Sunday roast, excellent staff and great selection of beers. Go for the vibes, not necessarily the food

Very nice - Edit
There was a very limited choice on the menu for me (intolerances); if you don’t like/can’t eat mushrooms it’s maybe not the place to go! But the sides I had were delicious, and my friends loved the pie and feta parcels.

Delicous Sunday Roasts - Edit
I got to try two of the Sunday Roasts when I was there, and they were both incredible: the walnut & cashew nut roast, and the slow roast celeriac & crackling. The whole dish, gravy and sides, is delicious.

Lovely Pub - Edit
Had a lovely mid-week meal here. The Guinness and mushroom stew and dumplings was very comforting on a winter's evening. Would have loved some lentils thrown in there for a bit of protein. The sticky toffee pudding was divine! Lovely atmosphere, will be back even if it's just for a drink and a game of pool!

Great little pub with tasty food - Edit
Such a great pub - if it wasn’t vegan I would still really like it as it has such a cool vibe. Great selection of craft beers, garden, a pool table. And of course the vegan food is top notch. The Sunday roasts are amazing.

Great vegan pub - Edit
I didn’t know sweetcorn fritters could taste so good! Plantain starter was a little on the small side but super tasty and the main more than made up it size-wise. Great service from the friendly staff and they have vegan wine🍷 Highly recommended.
Read moreUPDATE: the Sunday roast is also excellent. We had the beet wellington and celeriac roasts with roast potatoes, carrot and a Yorkshire pudding (just one, unfortunately). Very tasty. The sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was perfect and the apple crumble and custard was also a winner. Great service and cocktails. Will be back.

Hey Pal - good to see your smiling face - I used to go to The Spread Eagle with the rugby team - not far from Wanstead Flats, where we used to play.

Delicious roast in a cosy pub! - Edit
I’ve had this one on my list for a while and it didn’t disappoint!
Read moreWe went on a Sunday afternoon and it was really busy (we had to wait a few minutes for our booked table) so I would definitely recommend booking. The pub had a cosy decor and casual feel with the staff all in casual clothes.
Me and my wife went for the Beet Wellington and Slow Roast Celeriac & Crackling roasts, and our non-vegan friend went for the Walnut & Cashew Nut Roast and the Flatbread and Hummus. The roasts were delicious! The roast potatoes were crispy with fluffy centres, the veggies were flavoursome and cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire was also really tasty with a nice squidgy texture. The Beet Wellington was nice and ‘meaty’ and the celeriac was also very tasty. I personally preferred the Wellington but my wife preferred the Celeriac so I can recommend both! Our roasts also came with lots of gravy.
Our friend also polished off his plate so the nut roast must’ve been good too! I also got to try his hummus which was nice and creamy.
For dessert me and my wife had the ‘Sticky Toffee Pudding, Vanilla Ice Cream, Toffee Sauce’, and the S’mores Cup.
Both were really tasty! The Sticky Toffee Pudding had a rich flavour and nice dense texture, and the S’mores cup was also really tasty. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was my favourite of the two but they were both good!
Pros: Delicious roasts, Bustling and cosy pub with a cool vibe, Delicious desserts!

Worth my trip! Delightful meal! - Edit
Had to wait until 5pm for the kitchen to open, but that was my fault for being hungry and arriving early! (Hint:decent coffee shop across the way if you arrive before 4!)

Unreal share board - Edit
Dropped by Spread eagle on our first night in London and caught up with family, we were all still a little full from lunch so we opted for a bottle of Tempranillo and some shares - we got the Camembert wheel and the share plate. It was absolutely everything we needed and more - from the squashage to the hummus, the board had the most perfect range of flavours and “feel good” food that made us feel so warm and welcomed to London.
Read moreThe Camembert with the toasted bread was out of this world incredible. How they managed to get the skin on the wheel like that is beyond me and deserves some serious praise. All the flavours were fab and we would absolutely come back here on our next stop in London.
Pros: Share board, Camembert cheese, Temperanillo
