This is such a beautiful pub, with string attention to detail. The walls are painted in a pretty teal Farrow and Ball shade, there are fresh flowers on every table, they serve all sorts of beers (inc. GF), but they also make decent cocktails. I’ve had many a great weekend vending here sipping margaritas and eating delicious jack fruit GF tacos. Everything is vegan, the music is fantastic, and there is a shrine to Prince. Love the relaxed atmosphere. A great vegan pub with wonderful food!

These amazing people brought their Vegan Fried Chick'n and burgers to Glastonbury festival this year and I was not disappointed - except by their opening times!

Being super super critical the only thing I think that could be improved on is the batter of the chick'n. It could have some more flavour.

Visited on a random Sunday evening and really enjoyed my BBQ plate. The 'ribs' were amazing and the waitress was super friendly.

I was already a fan of Club Mexicana’s tofish taco and cheeze fingers and their pub grub didn’t disappoint. The triple fried chips with chipotle mayo and the burrito were full of flavour. I also loved their mocktail options. I’ll be back to try the huevos rancheros and the empanadas!

The staff were nice and it was quite loud and buzzy in the pub generally. We had the nachos and all the different types of tacos. The nachos were covered in like fridge cold toppings, which was a bit weird, especially when there's cheese sauce on it which you'd assume would be hot or at least warm. The tacos were tasty but probably a bit over-priced for the portion size. I had the mocktail strawberry daiquiri which was pretty sour. It's lovely to have an all-vegan pub, but the food and drink was a bit more disappointing than I had hoped. A gluten-free dessert option would also be good.

Adamant about reviewing places I go because I actually read reviews so all my are authentic. Food was excellent, waiter a little cold and miserable looking (hopefully you’ll get a better one) but overall happy, just on food alone 5 star.

I wish I could go there every day. The food is just amazing, and although it is a pub, there isn't this foul beer smell like in most pubs. It was clean, the sofa was really confy, and there was a lovely wibe. I really look forward to going back.

I absolutely love the Spread Eagle and am lucky enough to live nearby. The Mexican food is very tasty and all my non-vegan friends also love it. The staff are really friendly and are welcoming to dogs as well as people. Go! You will leave happy and full :)

I’m not a huge fan of salad, but this place has converted me (at least, while I’m there) and I will choose the popcorn chick’n salad every time! The seitan chorizo quesadilla, wings, fried potatoes and nachos are also fab!

Friendly, helpful staff and a pleasant atmosphere- the food was all tasty and suited sharing with beer, of which there was a good choice. Portion sizes were a bit small for the price was really enjoyable and would recommend a visit.

Fabulously tasty Club Mexicana food. I'm not good with particularly hot food but our waitress was very helpful pointing out those dishes that were less hot or could be served with the chilli sauce on the side. I opted for the tacos and loved all three. The tortilla chips that I shared were great too.
Read moreMy only negative in terms of the food was that I wasn't convinced by the deep fried icecream (the only dessert option). I think I will just have another side and skip dessert next time.
Being a pub there is a great selection of drinks (all vegan) including beer on draught. They made a rather good mojito for me.
The pub atmosphere was nice (it wasn't too noisy early evening) and the decor was attractive too.
