The Plantisserie is a Gem - Edit
I travelled from out of state to Miami for half a week and I stumbled upon The Plantisserie. I dined at several restaurants on my trip and I ended up stopping at The Plantisserie 3 times! It started to become my new favorite grocery store. I loved it so much!
Read moreI tried the hot food bar with a la carte options and enjoyed how yummy the food was (I tried the mac and cheese, Shepard’s pie, empanadas, rice w/ coconut curry, meatballs and sauce).
I loved seeing a vegan wine selection and picked up a few bottles at about $20 a piece. Tasty!
At some point, I ended up making a catering order for 2 platters for a social event (Empanada platter - half samosa/half meatless – beyond meat, and dessert platter – includes cookies which are made with almond flour and black bean brownies). The food was delicious! .... It disappeared!
In terms of service, the staff is very friendly, the order was made on time (need to order catering ahead of time) and the presentation of both platters was beautiful.
Overall, this is a fantastic vegan eatery. There is nothing like this where I am from and it was a great find! Would love to visit again.

I ordered the veggies coconut curry w/ rice entree and 3 different empanadas. I think the curry and rice presentation was just horrible. You can look at the pics and judge for yourself but I think it could have been presented better. All of the empanadas I had were good. All in all, I think this place is much better than what I’m grading it and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The bus ride to Plantisserie was worth it - Edit
As my eyes feasted on the salad and food bars, I knew I had arrived at the best place. I finally ordered the soup and salad combo plus the vegan pad thai. The pad thai surpassed any fresh or frozen versions I'd had before: the mushrooms attracted me, but the dish surpassed my expectations. The sweet potato soup tempted my curiosity, and tantalized my taste buds. I was too full to eat the vegan ceviche salad, so I ordered a large container to go for relatives I was visiting. I took the bus back. The 3 of us enjoyed the flavor and appetizing beauty of the salad; I probably should have ordered 2 large containers.
Read moreThe food handler at the steam table pointed out the discount in ordering a soup salad combo; hence, my smaller container of the salad with my dinner. She told me that the owner is the chef, who is interested in treating food as medicine.
The next time I visit Florida, I intend to top by Plantisserie. My Florida relatives now know how appealing it is.

I would come back to do work in their cafe area and just to hang because the environment is so sweet and cute. Perfect place to go on your computer and get a cup of coffee or tea. The food was really good but wasn’t flavored enough for me. But overall really good and would go back :)

Read moreFriendly service. They have their own veggie burgers (2 kinds) delicious too. Though the Shepard pie and lasagna is made with branded faux burgers--Don't understand. Few tables to eat on-site with fans on full blast so you won't get warm. Right near the train tracks. Lots of parking.

I’m all for keeping it simple, but if you can manage more then why not. I maybe tasted upwards to 12 different items. All were good except the kale salad was ok and the black beans and rice was standard. Will be back.

The Plantisserie - Edit
This place is an all around PERFECT VEGAN RESTAURANT. I was completely blown away by The Plantisserie on so many levels. First, I just dropped by there during lunch and planned to grab something for takeaway. I was greated by the friendliest young woman behind the counter who was incredibly enthusiastic about the restaurant and food. A lot of the food is in a deli format. She offered to let me try many things (and made so many recommendations) and this is what led me to order more food than originally intended (LOL). I drove back to my hotel and ate everything in pure bliss! I wish I had eaten at The Plantisserie more than once when I was in the Miami area. Totally incredibly food!!!

Did I mention everything is organic ? Even the black beans are cooked from scratch., NOT FROM A CAN*... they almond ricotta is amazing, you can either eat it as a spread but also make an amazing dish with it🤤
If you need sweets they have amazing products also❤️

Very Clean All Around - Edit
Loved the feel of this place the moment we parked. The service was great and there were a lot of choices. We had the Shepard’s pie, lasagna, jackfruit empanada and mushroom empanada. All of it was VERY clean tasting. They don’t use a lot of salt or spices. They leave the flavor up to the delicious organic plants they use. Definitely will be returning!

Great new deli - Edit
First time trying this place. Very clean, super friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the ricotta lasagna which was amazing, the broccoli pure and some kind of jackfruit stew. Will definitely come back to try other options, everything looked really good. Not much sitting space, I think they mostly cater for takeout and delivery customers.

Very happy to be the first to write a review of this amazing place. The ambient is bright and cute, there's parking spots available and there's a mini store inside where you can buy juices, frozen food, candles, essences and a few more stuff.
Read moreBut the food is the real star here! Their buffet by the pound is perfect for lunch. I had the "ropa vieja" - jack fruit with rice and black beans - and it couldn't have tasted better! Good spices, fresh and taste like that homemade food that you miss from your childhood.
They also have empanadas and alfajor. Everything vegan and organic. Fair price.
I will definitely come back.
