I’m so glad I found B&M Market & Restaurant in Miami — this place is an underrated gem for vegetarians and vegans! They offer several delicious plant-based options including a vegan spinach patty, vegetable roti wrap, vegetable curry, and pumpkin. They use soya chunks in some of their dishes which provide a familiar meaty flavor and texture for those looking to eat more plant-based. Be sure to ask them for that substitute. Overall the flavors are bold, comforting, and deeply satisfying — exactly what you’d hope for from Caribbean cuisine.
Read moreThe space is humble with a small seating area in the back, and you can also order takeout or delivery through GrubHub, DoorDash, or Uber Eats. B&M was even featured on an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations — and for good reason. It’s authentic, affordable, and full of heart.
