Not very special veggie burger - Edit
We went in the Moose for a late Sunday lunch which is not the best time to go to a sports bar… the thing is, I didn’t know it was a sports bar. I did read the Happy cow description beforehand but either it wasn’t mentioned or I just didn’t notice it.

There weren’t that many vegetarian or vegan options on the menu which was disappointing because the Moose has got so good reviews here.
The veggie burgers were ok but nothing special. They use old school veggie steaks with pieces of carrots and other vegetables in a patty. It was better than it looked like but felt a bit lazy. One of us took the poutine and wasn’t impressed by it but we are not familiar with the dish so we don’t know how it should taste like.
I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of people coming in: families with kids, an older couple, young sporty couples etc.
I would recommend it to the sports fans or people looking mainly for a fun bar.

It’s good to have a vegan putin option (two to be honest), but it’s not worth the price. It’s just regular fries with random tofu and canned veggies.. nothing memorable.

Amazing vegan poutine - Edit
I had the vegan classic poutine, and it tasted amazing! Very different from most vegan options and I'm glad I tried it. Definitely worth the price, in both taste and quantity!

Filling vegan poutine! - Edit
I hadn't seen vegan poutine anywhere before and really enjoyed it! The "vegan garden" one comes packed with tofu, courgette, peas, broccoli, mushrooms and bell pepper, it was massively filling. Really not bad for bar food. Good range of beers too and very nice staff.
