Not fully vegan, vegan meals available. We had the vegan nachos which were very loaded and filling and the vegan parm which was pretty dry - the shoestring fries were good though! They have vegan milkshakes - the vanilla and banana flavour were both good. Overall an average little bar/restaurant

Best vegan burger in Perth! - Edit
We go quite often, as it's one of the few places that don't close their kitchen until very late. They've got a nice selection of vegan options on the menu, that are clearly marked, and quite often have some vegan specials too.
Read moreThe vegan delxue burger is my absolute favourite burger in Perth, it has a great mix of flavours, and is always hot and fresh. We usually get the loaded vegan bolognese fries with them, which are delicious too. Cocktails are hit and miss, sometimes really tasty and sometimes not great. Staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is super chill- nice to tuck away in a booth and have a quiet night.
I used to get a vegan strawberry milkshake too, but on two of the most recent occasions they were accidentally made with dairy ice cream, so I am hesitant to try them again. Have never had a problem with any of the food, and it would be more obvious by look if there was a mistake. Despite this, it's still one of my favourite places to eat.
Pros: best burger in perth, friendly service, nice range of marked vegan options to choose from
Cons: hesitant to get milkshakes, can get very busy, especially during fringe/feb

I loved the pub and the staff was great. Lots of vegan options. We had the creamy pesto pasta, umami pillows (agnolotti) and buffalo cauliflower. Pastas were divine! If you are craving pasta, go here. Buffalo cauliflower was also delicious amd I couldn’t stop eating it.

Great spot for Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
Funky, iconic place that has been around for a long time. Their menu changes but lots of vegan options. I had the Umami pillows and the Veganza pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. They have perfected both those options, I wouldn't change a thing. I have to go back soon... lots more to try!

I was told the gf bun for the vegan burger was vegan, however going back another time I discovered it wasn't. So the staff here either don't know and lie, or just straight up lie because they can't be bothered checking. Either way I will never go back. Food is average roo.

Lots of vegan options, very well labelled on menu (included labelled on drinks menu too!). We loved playing cards after dinner and they had a decent selection of board games. Food was great, had nachos, bolognaise fries and burger. Would be here all the time if we lived over here!! 10/10

Read morePoor humour aside, I've been to The Moon a number of times and last visited over the weekend that just passed. I wondered why I hadn't completed a review for it yet.
I appreciate that they always have vegan offerings that are both delicious and hearty. Finding out that a pub/bar type venue only has salads as their vegan options is one of my biggest pet peeves.
The service has also been consistently excellent in my experience. I've always found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I thought this deserved a special mention, because they just seem to go the extra mile to accommodate vegans.
Pros: At least 1 vegan option for each menu section, Great service!
Cons: Food can take a while to arrive

A good selection of vegan options. Large servings ( fries would serve 4 in our opinion ) and fast service ( but we ate early). Friendly staff. Nice casual atmosphere. Food tasty and also some vegan wines. Choc vegan shake delicious and 3 choices non dairy milk. Overall very happy with our meal and will be back.

The food here is amazing and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is very cool, makes you feel like your in an old school American diner. The staff were also super friendly and attentive and the servings are quite large. I asked if they could make a milkshake vegan and they said they could being that they have vegan ice cream which was super cool, I had a chocolate one which was definitely not the best milkshake in the world but still super cool that it’s an option anyway. I had the vegan nachos ($22) to eat which were huge which was perfect as I was really hungry. The toppings were very fresh I only wish that they used vegan cheese that melted to be more like “real” nachos as well as there house made cheese that is more of a sauce that is just drizzled on top and not so much of a cheese. I would say they are more like corn chips with lots of toppings than your traditional greasy nachos but they are still very delicious and I would order again. The fries are good although be warned they are the really thin shoestring style which isn’t my personal favourite. The place is super cool and I would definitely rate the food as good quality and will most definitely be back to try some of the other vegan options which included; pizza, pasta, salad, chips with cheese sauce and there was other options on the brunch menu. Definitely a cool and unique place that’s worth checking out.

Description is a little decieving; this is a alternative style bar/restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and excellent service. There were enough vegan options to please, including vegan nachos, pasta & pizza.

I was a little unsure originally, but I'm really glad we came; and being open until 2am Saturday night was a real convenience!
