Read moreThe incredible cafe restaurant is loaded with baked goods, breakfast must, lunch and savory meal favorites. Armenian owned in Little Armenia, Moody serves up incredible service and even more incredible food.
Their breakfast plate, white chocolate pecan cookie and a cold brew are now my go to's, however breakfast tacos, breakfast burrito, loaded fries and the mood west chick'n bacon wrap are all up there as well.
It's super chic and quaint to seating is limited if you go with a group, but between the cozy inside and outdoor patio off Sunset Blvd/Normandie Avenue.
Fun place for a vrunch (a.k.a vegan brunch), bite, or meal of any kind. Obsessed with their cookies and cakes, and I'm not a cake person in the slightest so that's a high praise from me.
Get to know Alex and Mel the amazing team who runs this place with nothing but love and care.
Women owned.
Rocking it!

Was actually driving somewhere else but gf called out moody vegan, I’ve always heard about them and follow them on socials but never realized exactly where this place was. Got the breakfast burrito in a bowl and the MoodWest chicken bacon wrap, I couldn’t stop eating it was just so good! Service, exceptional. Vibes, immaculate. Food, delectable. We will absolutely be back.

My girlfriend and I tried The Moody Vegan for the first time and were seriously impressed. The owners—a warm, welcoming married couple—make everything from scratch, and it shows.

We also shared the nut-free, soy-free blueberry coffee cake, a Peel Good protein shake (21g protein), and a raspberry iced coffee with oat milk—everything was phenomenal. We even grabbed a nut-free lemon cake to-go for her mom.
Great food, great vibes—we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place, we got the breakfast burrito and the mushroom wrap and both were amazing. Also got a smoothie that was excellent. The staff was super nice and the place was really clean!

It’s great to have this small, welcoming place in the neighborhood. The food is a little overpriced and often too salty - it’s also the kind of spot that predominantly uses unhealthy fake substitutes (sausage, egg, etc.). I love that it’s here and will keep supporting it, but it’s just not quite the five-star experience that many describe it as.

The Moody Vegan is very small, but the interior is super cute, bright, and welcoming. We went late morning for brunch, and everything was delicious. I didn’t have enough appetite to try everything I wanted so I’m looking forward to returning!

The guy said they'd be the best waffles I ever had and he did not lie!! Amazing! Churro croissant was also ridiculously good, A ! Also got the lemon olive oil cake B , egg & cheese croissant with sausage (B-) and my sister got a coffee which was watery (C-). I'd definitely go back!

I got their breakfast platter with sausage. It was tasty and filling. I do wish the avocado would have been sliced instead of all smashed up. Whenever I get avocado like that, it makes me question if they used fresh avocados or bought pre-made guacamole from the store. Also wish the breakfast sausage had been spicy. Luckily, they had hot sauce on the table.

I came down to LA for quick visit and found this gem on the corner. So glad I did! The tacos are delicious, the pastries are beautiful and the atmosphere is very cute. Would recommend 10/10 for anyone in the area.

The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I got the breakfast burrito with oat milk vanilla latte and my partner got an iced americano. While we waited we were offered a free sample of their vegan bacon and even my non vegan partner thought it was insane! Adorable merch as well, had to get a shirt and some pastries from their case. The doggos were grateful as well!

Nice and friendly place with a fun menu. Had the croissant with "eggs" and avocado, would recommend! Awesome shakes too. Beverages were a bit underwhelming though, would have expected freshly squeezed orange juice for the price and the coffee didn't have anything going for it.

The breakfast burrito is as good as the reviews say. The potatoes were cooked well and the cheese was rich and tasty. The chicken bacon wrap is a new menu item. It was pretty good. The bacon was the best part. BBQ sauce could have been a bit thicker and more zingy. The lahmajune was quite good but not at all like pizza other than the shape.

Great location, in downtown LA! I got breakfast plate which came with 2 hash browns , guacamole, toast , bacon and eggs. I also got a black iced coffee. Everything was delicious and fresh . The staff was super friendly and helpful. Easy 5 stars.
