Truly vegan paradise - Edit
This place had so many vegan products that I had never seen before. They even had products from other countries. I wanted to try everything. It was expensive though. I bought five (of the more affordable) items, and it was $25. If I lived here, I would definitely come by here and treat myself every once in a while. Also, they had a full menu of sandwiches, hot dogs, soft serve, etc. in there.

There are so many cool vegan options from this place, I love that everything is vegan there and I don’t have to worry about accidentally buying something that might not be vegan. Lots of vegan foods and treats I haven't seen elsewhere, including a large selection of fancy (pricey) cheeses and meats. They also have a hot dog / sandwich / soft serve counter. The hot dogs we got were pretty good but took a weirdly long time to prepare for something that's usually a quick food.

OMG I have NEVER seen such a fabulous selection of vegan foods. Snacks, meats, cheeses, milks, sweets. We bought a lot of food and wished we could have bought pretty much everything. Super cute Chico bags with a photo of the store on them. The most mind blowing thing, out of dozens of mind blowing things, was the soft serve. Not just delicious flavor, but the best texture I've ever had. If you're vegan and in LA, do not miss this grocery.

After wanting to stop by BESTIES for over a year, I finally had the chance last week. The selection was impressive but relatively pricy, as one would expect. I am fortunate to have a vegan market near where I live, so it was as expected, but if you are not used to one, it is a cool experience! I bought a brie cheese here that I cannot stop thinking about, so the stop was a win for me. Next time, I want to try their hot dogs & soft serve!

I find products here I cannot find elsewhere. It’s lovely to know you can get whatever you want in there. The soft serve is good. The sandwiches. They have some of the best vegan cheeses I’ve ever had. And the service is great! They will help you and recommend products. These chocolate covered marshmallows are a must for me whenever I’m there.

Bestie’s is a vegan grocery store with new products coming in all the time and as well as staples and favorites. But more than that, they are a place that fosters vegan community and uplifts local vegan restaurants and businesses. They are always doing great work, and I feel so lucky to live close by!

Love this place. It’s definitely on the pricey side but you can find virtually any vegan product and they have great thematic sales occasionally. Incredible cheese selection. Amazing soft-serve. I’m really hoping that they expand their bulk bin section! There’s so much space in that side room for it. Bulk soy curls, yes plz!! I’d go regularly.

So many goodies here, and I like that they support only vegan businesses. The soft serve is great. Product highlights from my first purchase: vegan fish sauce (really great for Thai cooking and apparently very close to the real thing, and almost impossible to find elsewhere) and the ghost pepper jack cheese (spicy and delicious with a unique flavor).

Not only is everything vegan and cruelty-free, but the owners boycott companies that sell vegan products in addition to selling animal products. Shopping here won’t subsidize the meat, dairy, or egg industries whatsoever. Follow Your Heart or Tofurky? Won’t see those here. They’re both owned by dairy companies. This place rules.

I’ve been fortunate enough to visit several vegan-only convenience stores and small markets, and Besties is really just excellent at what it does. They have a little of everything and it’s incredibly well-curated. You’ll find a lot of brands you’re familiar with and just as many small vendors you might not know. Even the big brands seem to pilot new products through Besties so it seems like they’ve got a cutting edge catalog.
