Best pub in the area!

I have never had a bad vegetarian meal at The Milk House - their food is incredible, local and reasonably priced for the exceptional quality! My favourite pub for miles around.

Pros: Food, Presentation, Atmosphere

Cons: Range of choices

Real vegan dishes in the countryside

After two days of getting nothing but potato and salad I was so happy to come to this cute place! Staff were super friendly and helpful suggesting gluten free dishes that would suit me. I had local asparagus (perfectly cooked) with minted pea purée (so good!) for starters and then a beet bourguignon which was made with lentils and felt very clean ingredient wise. It was very hearty and tasty and not too small a portion which I appreciated. I also liked that they try to sort local produce.

Pros: Helpful staff, Several dishes made from mainly whole foods, Local produce

Cons: They serve animals , No sugar free dessert
