100% Vegan! - Edit
They had me at cashew cream. House-made vegan chili with the most amazing cashew cream. They use organic ingredients in their smoothies. Everything I had here was delicious.
Read moreIt's located next to the Kardinal Hall but not inside. Walk past the thai place and keep walking towards the back. It's tucked in there.. you'll find it! Worth the trip.

I loved The Juice Laundry, all of their smoothies are vegan and besides their signature smoothies, you can also make your own. Me and my friends tried some of the signature smoothies and they were all delicious.

Wow 100x better than Starbucks and better for you. No added sugar. No condensed skim milk (eww yuk). No preservatives. This is the REAL DEAL, all organic ingredients, made from PLANTS (cashews, pumpkin, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, etc.). I'm definitely coming back for more.

Been craving a $14 bottle of juice? Granted, fresh and organic, and it's the only all vegan place in 50 mile radius, but who can regularly shell that out for a juice? Also, I had one cashew milk with spices drink from here that I didn't even finish because it was bland and I didn't enjoy it. They don't have meal options either, and if you're trying to minimize sugar intake (from fruit, honey, maple syrup) then don't go here. They couldn't tell me how much maple syrup was in their housemade granola, they just assured me it wasn't much.

Tried the vegan "poutine" next door, was a pile of soggy fries with globs of wet corn starch. Needed food. Juice laundry saved the day. Wonderful chili. Wish i had some now.

The owner is kick-ass. All vegan and all good vibes. Young staff with lots of employees. I think it's great to expose young people to vegan food. This place does that and more. The juice is awesome, the food is fantastic. The Chili is some of the best I've ever had.

The only juice/smoothie joint in C'ville as far as I am concerned! - Edit
I have been frequenting this place since they finally opened a storefront. This business started as the go-to place whenever you went to the Charlottesville Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. One thing people fail to talk about this place is that they offer actual vegan food too. So even if you want something more than juice or smoothies, they offer homemade vegan chili (which is yummy) with cashew sour cream, build your own quinoa bowls, a variety of salads (which are the best in town!)...basically your lighter lunch fare but everything is made in house and with a ton of LOVE!!! Also if you are wanting to get active in the local vegan community, there is a vegan book club that meets there every month too. This establishment also prides itself on being Zero Waste (everything down to the napkins, cups, and cutlery is compostible!). This is currently the ONLY 100% VEGAN place in town and I cannot express enough how amazing the quality of their food/juice/smoothies are and how worthy they are of our support. Once you go in, you'll have a hard time leaving!

For some reason, I wasn't expecting this to be a real juice bar. It is probably because I'm used to establishments calling themselves that if they offer one beverage of freshly made juice. But this place is the real thing. I had the Cacao Monster and loved it!
Read moreMy GPS guided me to the backside of this building though. So if you are looking for them, turn into the parking lot as if you were going to the Timbercreek Market and the cycling store. They are next to the cycling store.
