The sesame latte is perfect. It tastes like sesame as it should and is really smooth and delicious.
They come out with the courses and explain each one.
The first course was a gazpacho with a side of focaccia bread and Japanese plum jelly. It was paired with a non-alcoholic chardonnay. This was a lovely combination of sweet and savory. The tempeh crumbles in the gazpacho were perfect and the jelly was so good with the focaccia bread. The Chardonnay was sweet and tasted a bit like juice. I thought that was a perfect way to start.
The second dish was a mix of strawberry, almonds, radish, and a vegan creamy yogurt in the middle. It was paired with a cherry lemonade. The sweet strawberries are balanced really delicately with the spicy radishes and the cream in the middle. It was a really nice mix of sweet and earthy. The lemonade was delicious too. It tasted a lot like kombucha.
The next dish was a pita with vegan pesto, mint, hummus, lemon juice, and it was paired with a non-alcoholic beer. The lemon is very strong and the citrus really comes through. I think it is refreshing and feels like summer. The hummus was creamy and the mint was really nice. The beer was tasty too and left a really nice taste in my mouth after drinking it.
The 4th dish was half an onigiri, roasted eggplant and tofu, and pickled carrots with a ponzu sauce. It was paired with a smoked mocktail. The eggplant and the tofu were perfect, but unfortunately this dish had cilantro so every good flavor was immediately destroyed by the soapy flavor of cilantro. But the mocktail was very pleasant and I would definitely drink that again.
Next was the vegan cheese plate. It is a vegan blue cheese that comes with bread and is paired with an apple juice. I really enjoyed this. It has the texture of cream cheese, but definitely has a blue cheese flavor. Great texture and yummy flavor! The apple juice was sweet and compliments the cheese flavor well.
Lastly the dessert was a chocolate, sesame cacao fudge with maple syrup. It was paired with a cacao tea. Incredible, delicate, rich, and chocolatey. This is a chocolate lovers dream.
I highly recommend this experience! Beautiful food with gorgeous presentations and flavors. A must try in Paris.

The food is good, creative, portions are just what you need to be full at the end of the meal (we take the discovery menu which changes with the seasons) the ambiance is friendly and lively, the service warm yet efficient. It’s on the pricier side, but this was the best vegan meal I had in Paris. There is a tasting menu but you can also order individual items. The tofu ricotta pasta was delicious and you can ask for wine pairings based on what you want to order. It was a really fantastic experience.

I am not sure if you are used to vegetal cheeses... We eat them every day (the pros of living in Paris!) We had cheeses there several times and they were really good. Of course nothing like an animal cheese. And yes, cheese is expensive, whether vegetal or animal.

Each course contained a range of delightful colours and aromas due to the ingredients chosen. The flavours and textures were all divine and complimented one another extremely well.
Whilst the price may be considered to be higher than average, I genuinely believe that this is reflected in the quality of the food and the experience of the restaurant service which was incredible.
Having been a vegan in Paris for over two years, I firmly believe that this is the best dining experience that I have had since I moved here.
I highly recommend The Friendly Kitchen!

C'est une vraie expérience gustative et culinaire, et le service très agréable ! Sans avoir testé les vins, une carte de boissons très sympathique et originale avec de bonnes options sans alcool. Le prix peut s'avérer élevé mais me semble largement justifié !
