Bland and mushy burrito - Edit
I ordered the soyrizo breakfast burrito with fries for breakfast and was super disappointed. The burrito is huge and packed, but it's so bland and mushy it's almost inedible. Luckily I got mine to go and had tons of hot sauce on hand, but even that couldn't save it. I tried to doctor it with some salt, hot sauce, and even added the fries into the burrito, but it still wasn't good. I feel like their vegan option must be an afterthought because there is no seasoning in sight.

Decent vegan burrito - Edit
The food is decent, but nothing special. That said, it’s nice to have vegan options at a brunch spot that non-vegan friends will enjoy, so it may be worth the trip.

Amazing! - Edit
All the staff members were perfectly lovely. Very friendly and helpful. I got the vegan burrito with a fruit salad and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious and the portion was quite big.

Cute and Vegan Friendly Brunch Spot - Edit
I took a day trip to Long Beach with some family and I found this place for us to have lunch. I needed to go somewhere with vegan options and The Breakfast Bar has plenty. I had the vegan burrito and my picky eater little cousin enjoyed the BLTA without the L and the T so I am certain anyone can find something they like here. The atmosphere was lively, good music was playing, the outdoor seating was beautiful, and we could tell that this place is popular with the locals. I highly recommend The Breakfast Bar to anyone looking for the ultimate Sunday brunch vibes and I will be back here the next time I'm in the area.

Easy Breakfast - Edit
They recently added a vegan section to their menu! Avo toast is amazing, and apple sage sausage is a great side. Oatmeal can be made with almond milk too. A Long Beach staple

Nice place but near impossible for vegans - Edit
This is a lovely local spot, bustling with locals. Everything is very good, but a bit overpriced for what you get. Being a breakfast specialty place it has the expected items that would make the average person very happy, complete with some home made goodies. The dishes are pretty, hearty, and very good (not the best, but they satisfy). Unfortunately, while its very vegetarian friendly, it is pretty much impossible for vegans. There is a vegan sausage (my guess is it's the Field Roast Apple sausage) but that's just an option to have as a side or as a sausage replacement....in your egg based dishes. So unless you're ok with just having a side salad with a side of vegan sausage, you pretty much only have vegetarian options. Everything else is egg and milk based, even the oatmeal. Tasty dishes, delightful, good hot food, but if you really want/need to stick with vegan items, The Grain, Seabirds, and Wild Chive (Portfolio's on Sunday) are better alternatives and close by.
