Delicious, healthy African fare - Edit
This is a midtown branch of a place whose flagship restaurant is at the African Art Center in Harlem. It is located in The Hugh foodcourt in the building formerly known as the Citicorp Center. This is a beautiful foodcourt, and a bunch of the eateries here offer vegan items, most notably Teranga and Avacoderia.
Read moreYou order at the counter, they scoop out the food in bowls for takeout or for eating in the foodcourt. They don't have a huge menu, but what they have is good and features a good percentage of vegan items. I have the Ancient Vegan Bowl, which was an excellent dish--tasty, healthy, and very filling.
