Nous avons très bien mangé, beaucoup d’options véganes indiquées à la carte. Néanmoins, nous sommes partis les derniers et le serveur nous a dit le montant à régler et nous devions payer par cash (pas de possibilité de payer par carte bancaire) sans nous proposer et nous montrer la facture. Nous avons demandé à diviser la note mais cela n’était pas possible. Après être partis, nous avons recalculé et avons réalisé que nous avions payé 30€ de plus que ce que nous avions commandé. Pratique douteuse…

I think this place deserves to be more well-known. I come here from time to time and it never misses. The food is consistently good, and the owners are so friendly and accommodating, which is not really the norm here. I can definitely recommend the mixed plate to try a bit of everything, and if you like things a little spicier, ask for the chili oil! The owners are lovely to chat with, and English is not a problem either. If you love Ethiopian food, or if you’re curious to try it out, I can’t recommend this place enough. #Veganuary

Tried the injera with a little bit of everything from the menu. It was really delicious with a lot of different flavors on one plate. The owners are very friendly and helpfull.

First time visiting an Ethiopian restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's a small place with a limited amount of seats, their focus seems to be on take-out.

We only had food here, drinks are self-service. There's a fridge with several drinks you can take. We had a plate for two with a little bit of everything. Some of the dishes are slightly spicy. The owner asked if we liked it spicy because he had something special for the ones who do. I like spicy food so I said yes and he came back with a small bowl of what seemed to be like some chili's in oil. I drizzled the entire bowl over my part of the plate and it wasn't too spicy, actually just perfect. All of the dishes were super delicious and the injera very soft and fresh. Portion size was generous.
We loved having dinner here, although it's not the place where you sit down for an hour or two. It's more suitable for a quick meal if you'd ask me.
Would highly recommend visiting Tena Adam for some delicious and affordable Ethiopian food and to support these lovely people.

You can either eat with your hands or with cutlery. A sink to wash your hands is available.
Also open during lunch hours.
I like Ethiopian food a lot, so will definitely be back.

I ate here twice during my 2 week stay in Munich. A small cafe with about 6 tables, friendly staff and tasty food. Both times I had the beyaynetu which is a platter of assorted dishes for only €15.

Read moreThe concept of store is a mix of eating and buying groceries. Currently they have rather standard groceries ( which makes less sense to me since you can get that anywhere) , but they are planning to offer Ethiopian spices soon. Looking forward to it!

Pretty small store with a selection of ~6 Ethiopian dishes. They cost about 8.5€ each with or you can get them all on a plate for 12.5€, which are extremely reasonable prices for munich.

The food was delicious. The owner was very nice and offered to bring us more sauce if we ran out. All while being very cheap. We paid 8€ each for food and a drink. Payment with Card is possible.
