Delicious restaurant and shop

The place is run by monks very welcoming. The lunch buffet is not giant but delicious and it's free pricing.
The à la carte offers are great and as delicious.
We loved that place.
Shop at the first floor and restaurant at the 2nd.

Enjoy!

A hidden gem

Beautiful selection of fresh, different & tasty Vietnamese dishes - so thankful to Happy Cow for finding this place as you would never find it otherwise! I would list this place as a "Must Visit" in Hanoi 👌

Amazing Vegan Bun Cha

I wanted to have Vegan Bun Cha in Vietnam and it was not easy to find. But it’s here!! And very tasty! You need to go into a supermarket and upstairs. Hidden gem restaurant. So many other food menu. Wanna go back🥲

Social enterprise!

Great little community feel peace. It was kind of hard to find as you have to walk through the alleyway and then go up the stairs in an organic store. However, it is a pay however much you like social enterprise where they give free meals to locals who can’t afford it. Great food and lovely people.

Pros: Social enterprise, Pay what you feel, Good food

Cons: Hard to find , Not heaps of options

Delicious all-you-can eat style buffet

It's not directly at the street, but in a small alley (there's an entrance sign at the street though). Good food in a nice location!

Super fine food.

The dishes were amazing. Balanced. Original. The fake crab soup with a broth made of pineapple was so tasty. Mostly vegan. The place is in the first floor of a shop run by monastics.

No allium

Food contains no allium and pricing is reasonable. Need to walk into the alley, but the sign along the main road is obvious.
We love their soap noodles and fried spring rolls.

Pros: No allium , Quiet environment to dine in

Amazing buffet run by buddhist monks

The buffet is only available sometimes, otherwise you can order from the menu. This place is amazing. The pho, vegetables and mocked meats were absolutely delicious. Everything is made without garlic and onion. This has been my favourite place I have been to during my 2 week trip to Vietnam.

Not as described on here

This venue is not a buffet, it was quite dirty, and only a few things on the very large menu were available. We were expected to remember these by number.

It was quite a strange experience, and we decided to leave before eating as we felt uncomfortable.

Best meal in hanoi so far

Went there twice, and it was thrilling both times. The menu is big but usually they have only few dishes out of it.
A lot of different moc meat.
Best bun cha I've eaten.

So good and cheap

Hanoi is pretty expensive for food compared to other parts of Vietnam but this place is cheap cheap cheap!! About 30k for the soup and 40k for noodle dishes. And delicious!!! And fresh

Mixed result

While I really enjoyed my meal, I also split a hot pot with my wife which was not that good and was overpriced. While the hot pot really comes with a lot of food, it was quite expensive and cost almost 10 times more than the other dish. Since there are so many zeros in the prices, I did not realize it was so much more expensive when I purchased it. The menu was correct but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth (although admittedly I made a mistake).

You've gotta try the mushroom KFC!

Really nice place, the hot pot seems popular with locals for shared lunch. We went for some lovely pho with a side of fried green veggies and amazing mushroom 'KFC'.

Prezzi contenuti

Pros: Funghi insoliti!

Not what we expected

We arrived pretty late for lunch (around 1:30PM) and we could only choose the buffet at 99.000 dongs. We were a bit disappointed because there was not a lot of choices left and the food was cold. It might be better when you arrive at earlier hours.

Special flavours

Quiet place in busy Hanoi - prices are super fair, the lady who runs it speaks English and is very nice. We tasted things we've never tasted before!

A little hidden Gem

This place is definitely worth a visit. Lots of items on the menu but the staff will tell you what's available that day. Totally vegan restaurant with some interesting and different mock meats and dishes. Definitely worth a try, very cosy seating area too.

Pros: Totally vegan and lots of variety
