Lovely food, clearly marked vegan - Edit
the dishes were delicious and the staff were very friendly, the plates seem small but they are incredibly filling.

Amazing! - Edit
I simply loved it. The flavours of all the plates were deep and nicely balanced each other. Each plate had a distinct flavour. The staff was very nice and helpful. Will come back!

My Palestine To Shine - Edit
Charming doesn’t do this place justice. Nestled within the arches of the railway line, along with a slew of other equally quirky and quaint businesses, its shabby-chic aesthetic spliced with authentic Middle Eastern nods creates a marvellous, welcoming environment.
Read moreThe only flashpoint of the meal came at the very beginning. I genuinely had to persuade the amazingly helpful, polite and courteous server that I would be ok getting the five-plates offer, she thought I was crazy and said as much! I think whacking the desserts on top too nearly blew her mind.
Waiting for my gargantuan feast was a near exercise in torture, the aromas wafting from the kitchen were heavenly and ensured I was suitably amped up for the task at hand.
When it all did arrive, along with a wishing of good luck, I could already tell it was going to be special. To put it all in context up front, even the warm, pillowy pitas were to die for and paired perfectly with all else that lay before me. They were also dangerously addictive - I should know, I had seven.
The first dish I plunged them into was the ful. A positively fine example of what can sometimes be tepid affair, its earthiness was offset by the nutty, creamy tahini.
Next the Qalayet bandora - light, refreshing yet still carrying exquisite flavour, it was another knockout.
As for the muhammara and the tandoori falafel, each was easily up there with the best I’ve ever had. The former’s sweet tang and the latter’s smokey notes elevated far above the norm.
Finally the hummus. Anywhere else this might be considered a triumph of the menu, but here, among such rarified company, it was merely excellent.
Running out of superlatives (and space), I will be succinct with regard to the sweets - both (the halva bread and the baklava) were as brilliant as all that had preceded them. It would be a travesty for anyone to go here and miss out on either.
I can absolutely avow for this place to be a must visit in the city.

Wow - Edit
Highlight of my trip so far.
Read moreNot sure if this was technically a traditional breakfast in Palestine or not—but it was the closest spot to my hotel and open early, so I gave it a go.
I asked for a recommendation and was served falafel and Muttabal. It arrived quickly—and what a treat.
Coming from the UK, where we suffer through terrible bread, the pita here was excellent. The falafel was crisp, well-seasoned, and fresh. But the Muttabal? Easily the star of the show. Smoky, rich, and topped with pomegranate seeds that gave it this unexpected sweet-sour twist.
A perfect, easy way to start the day—though it would make a great light lunch, too.
Pros: Staff, Food, Location

Yummy falafel wrap - Edit
I ordered a falafel wrap for takeaway and they were able to make it in 10 mins which I appreciated - it's quite close to the bus/train station. The wrap was very nice, maybe a touch salty but I still enjoyed. It's a shame I couldn't go for a proper meal. The space is quite small, unsure if it gets very busy at peak times.

bardzo dobre - Edit
Kanapki z falaflem pyszne i w dobrej cenie, talerzyki z pastami też bardzo dobre. Wszystko mocno słone, mi to akurat smakowo pasuje, ale później bardzo chce się pić 😄

Sehr gute Platten - Edit

Middle Eastern feast - Edit
Great place with super friendly staff serving vegetarian and vegan mezze to share. Hummus and falafel are great, but their muhammara and spicy aubergine are outstanding. A spot for a relaxed bite, rather than a fancy dinner.
