The Name Says It All

A funky, extremely popular spot with strong hipster vibes, I was aware as soon as I stepped in that I was entirely too bedraggled and decidedly too uncool to be in here after having had an extraordinary forty-eight hours of travelling. Nevertheless, just by entering I felt that I’d committed to the process, so I persevered.
Disappointingly, none of the exceedingly delicious-looking bakes were vegan, so I had to rely solely on liquid sustenance for the time being. The most intriguing-sounding beverage was the coconut cloud iced matcha which was compelling enough in name alone to make it my weapon of choice.
Now, it’s fair to say it was very much not what I was expecting, mainly because there wasn’t a drop of coffee to be seen. Obviously, my completely nonexistent grasp of the language had come to the fore, but having forked over a small fortune for it, I was determined to give it a go. Fortuitously, it was amazing, and what’s more, it was exactly what I needed without even knowing it. Fabulously refreshing, yet still sinfully creamy with a prominent coconut lilt, I pray that all future failures go as well as this one.
No doubt this is a haven for many in the city and it’s easy to see why. With its relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and eclectic offerings, I know that this would be a regular haunt of mine should I be fortunate enough to reside nearby.
