WTF - Edit
There are no vegan Ramen at this place. The basis broth is made with pork. It's written on the front page of the menu.

Lovely vegan ramen - Edit
One of the nicer ramens I’ve had outside of Japan - huge portions, very flavourful broth and lots of toppings. Really appreciated the free extra beansprouts.
Read moreThey also have vegan gyoza, which I haven’t tried.

Good broth, unusual toppings - Edit
I am always looking for good ramen in Prague, and Takumi was a bit of a mixed bag. The menu has four ramen dishes that are labelled vegan. Unfortunately not all of the additional toppings and sides you can choose from have allergy labelling or the word "vegan" in the description, so deviating from those four dishes is a little tricky.
Read moreI tried the white creamy vegan tan tan men signature ramen. The broth was excellent, really flavoursome. The noodles were nice, and it was a generous portion. The toppings were not great for me. There were some tomato wedges, which I found very unexciting, and some vegetable croquettes which lacked flavour and texture - they were completely soaked in the broth and went soggy. It seemed a little poorly thought out. My partner had the vegan gyoza miso ramen, which suffered a somewhat similar problem in that the gyoza were sitting in the broth and therefore lost their texture. He liked the other toppings, particularly the tofu and peas, but found the broth quite underwhelming.
We visited during a cold snap in January, so it was freezing outside. The restaurant was absolutely boiling hot though, a bit uncomfortable for me. It was also quite cramped inside without much room to manoeuvre between tables. Their social media says they don't take reservations, but on arrival we saw there were reserved tables, and we had to sit at the bar. I would definitely recommend booking, it was absolutely packed.
For accessibility, note that there are a couple of steps up from the street to the door, and it's very crowded inside.
