Bakery
Shop selling taiyaki, a traditional Japanese baked sweet in the shape of a fish and is filled with red bean paste. Regular taiyaki is vegan. The one that comes with ice cream isn't. Not far from Ebisu station. Reported open August 2023. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-6:30pm.

So good! - Edit
The Taiyaki comes vegan - just skip the cream. It tastes incredible when it’s hot, and it’s affordable ¥200 p/u in April-23)

Perfect traditional treat - Edit
Naturally vegan Taiyaki. Only red bean paste filling, not too sweet. Super cheap and hot and ready.

Great traditional treat - Edit
For 200Y per treat, this is such great value. It was a unique flavour that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely suggest you try one if you're in the area. Would return if in the area for sure, but wouldn't cross town for it.

Taiyaki - Edit
C'est la première fois que je mange un Taiyaki alors je ne sais pas si celui-ci est particulièrement bon, mais j'ai trouvé ça délicieux. 200¥, c'est très croustillant, un peu sucré, je vous conseille vivement d'y faire un tour !!

Tasted good - Edit
However there were no indications that it's vegan. When I asked the staff, she didn't know what vegan is, but she did confirm that no animal products were used in the taiyaki. They don't seem to have a website or list of allergens to confirm..

The best Taiyaki in my life ! - Edit
Read moreTaiyaki here is 90% with soft and fluffy red bean paste and it warms up both your heart and body!
The skin is thin and crispy which is not traditional but it makes the Taiyaki here simple but individual.
I usually don’t eat Taiyaki since it’s often too sweet, but here is not very sweet and you’d feel sad when you finish yours! Definitely come back here soon!
Pros: Cheap 180 yen / pc, Fresh
Cons: No space to have a seat (there’s a park nearby)

Crispy, filling and delicious! - Edit
Absolutely delicious taiyaki! The batter is thin and crispy with a lovely, nutty flavour, and the filling is generous, chunky and not unbearably sweet. I was really surprised by how good it was, this is an expertly crafted taiyaki! I’d definitely recommend stopping by for a snack if you’re in Ebisu.

Soooo happy to have vegan taiyaki!! - Edit
Most taiyaki in Japan contain animal products, so I was really thrilled about this all vegan taiyaki stand! The ice cream contains dairy so just stick to the taiyaki if you’re vegan! It tasted amazing and can’t wait to go back😄

Delicious filling snack - Edit
A hole in the wall taiyaki store. This dessert/snack is 180¥ a pop, and made with a vegan batter.
Read moreWent in the evening near closing time and ate non-fresh taiyaki, but taste was still good. Went on a weekday during daytime and had fresh taiyaki and it was very delicious!
This dessert/snack is very filling. Great for the vegan on the go. Has discounted prices the more you order. Order more in a cute takeaway box to bring home. Very impressed by this little Ebisu gem.
Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Tradtional
