A bit of a tourist trap to be fair - Edit
First off: everybody was SUPER friendly! They really treat you very well.
Read moreBut the food seemed really mediocre. In the beginning they immediately bring you a platter of cheese, bread, butter and olives. All things that you have to pay for if you take them.
The drinks were quite affordable but the mains (except for the veg options, funnily) were all at least 20€.
We had:
Vegetable Soup - very good, didn't verify but I think it was vegan
Mains:
Had the stuffed aubergines which were EXTREMILY boring. It felt like the aubergine was just cooked in water and the veggies sauteed briefly, without any spices (or even salt). Similar things with the Octopus my GF ordered. Some of her veggies were raw even. The food also seemed rather cold, as if it were just sitting around for a while.
I feel bad being this harsh but I really recommend going for a different restaurant. It is located directly at the beach with a good sunset view, which explains why it is really packed around 20pm. Rather go to a different restaurant and then go for the sunset view at the beach separately.

Very nice place for vegan and vegetarian - Edit
Very nice little restaurant with really delicious vegan options. Mushroom starter, vegetable-stuffed eggplant dishes / portobello mushroom fritters, fries, salads, and dessert are really very good too. Very nice little place. Great welcome, attentive multilingual servers.

Good vegan choices - Edit
Other local vegan options were closed so we chose this and were happily surprised.

Cons: We were asked 4 times by 4 different staff members, If everything was ok.

Having multiple staff members asking if everything is ok is actually very common in Portugal 🤭 take it as an effort to make sure everything is up to your expectations or you have the opportunity to say something about the food, etc.
