Community space providing a place for many exhibitions, workshops, smallish music events. Offers a big bar menu with burgers, loaded fries, "hermelin", in addition to various starters, tapas and main dishes, from 'notfish & chips' to Hungarian loaded pancakes. Has several beers, wines and spirits as well as premium and local soft drinks. Open Mon-Fri 07:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-23:00.

I only had a chance to pop in for a take-away dinner, and whilst waiting to have a beer - but I have to say Szabad - Új hely has the perfect feel of the Budapest pubs with fantastic food, drinks, and welcoming vibes.

The best thing about traveling abroad is to find vegan versions of traditional dishes and those ones were amazing. The place has a great vibe, its cozy and the service is spectacular. Honorable Mention to this desert that was the best thing I've ever eaten

This unassuming restaurant hosts the most delicious burgers. I had the Balkan burger, my partner had the Zucchini burger and we shared the dirty fries. We would recommend all of those!

The place itself has a nice vibe, with some oitdoor seating, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We tried the daily menu (available on every weekday, consists of a soup and a main dish for 2990,-) which was a french onion soup and penne with a tomato-mushroom sauce - both of them were delicious and they gave rather big portions. And i also had to try the not Fish & chips, made out of jackfruit, and it was just perfect, i would definitely recommend that to try once!

Wir kamen in das Bistro und dachten wir bekommen eine umfangreiche Auswahl an ungarischen Essen. Jedoch gab es auf der Bistrokarte nur die Gulaschsuppe und ein Hauptmenü. Uns wurde erklärt, dass es ein weiteres Lokal, ca 1. Stunde entfernt gibt. Dort hätten wir mehr Auswahl. Die Bilder seien hier in der App vermischt und zeigt Essen aus beiden Lokalen. Ich aß die Gulaschsuppe, die wirklich sehr gelungen ist.

2 lovely dogs off lead in the restaurant who are so sweet and wander around greeting the guests.

This one has a larger dining room while keeping an alternative aesthetic I really appreciate.
The beer selection is very nice. The draft Primator is a Czech beer, and the wheat one is just awesome. They had a grapefruit flavored wheat beer as well, and it was delicious.
We tried a fish and chip along with a zucchini burger and fries. Everything delivered.
Not the cheapest without being expensive.
