Nice mock meat buffet, friendly owner - Edit
Nice mock meat buffet, friendly owner. You pay for the diversity on your plate. So a plate with just one dish is more expensive then the same amount but different dishes. But everything is cheap here. A plate is between 5 an 15 MYR. A lot of the mock meat dishes are in a very sweet sauce.
Read moreThey also have some steam buns at the entrance for less than 2 MYR. The one with Red Bean is more sweet, so you can use it as a dessert 😃
Pros: many vegan mock meat dishes

Great food, inexpensive price. - Edit
Vegetarian asian buffet that is as far as I can tell is all vegan. The woman working the counter when asked says no milk, no eggs. A very good selection of item's including fake meat's.

Great buffet for vegetarians, vegans need to check mock meats - Edit
Update with warning for vegans: I learned that many of the Malaysian mock meats are not vegan and might have egg. Staff at restaurants will tell you they don't have egg but you need to have them show the package ingredients. I didn't have a chance to go back to this place to check.

Great buffet in typical Malaysian Chinese buffet style. Staff tell me all the food at the buffet has no eggs, no milk. But, they do have cow milk for drinks, and I also spotted dairy cheese in the fridge but I am unsure what they do with it. You go fill up a plate with what you want, and then they look at it and give you a total price to pay. If you want more food you pay again. This place opens early, and the earlier you arrive the more food options they will have. I was able to get a few baozi for breakfast for only RM6, and for dinner got a huge pile of food on a plate for RM8. Show me a place that you can get a filling vegan meal for cheaper in KL. You can also order food from their other restaurant next door which has daily specials which are cheap. This place is very heavy on the mock meats and there is also lots of oil so don't expect a full rainbow nutritional meal. It's also not so clean, but the staff are all super friendly and most of them speak good English and are willing to answer questions.
Pros: Friendly staff, Cheap, The food is allegedly vegan
Cons: Not so clean, Too much oil, Too much mock meat with mystery ingredients

Great place with a big variety of dishes. Good option for breakfaat or lunch. The food is very good, cheap and the staff is friendly. I am not sure if all dishes are 100% vegan, but we found many options.

Two departments - Edit
So sweet veggies turns out to have to "departments". On one side of the wall they have a pre cooked (cold!) buffet, on the other side you can order something and they will mak it "fresh" or at least hot for you.
Read moreI tried both sides and enjoyed them both. Though I am missing my vegetables with so many mock meats! But if you are into that, this place is definately for you.
I believe that they do not use cowsmk in any thing. When I asked they were like no, this is a vegetarian restaurant; milk comes from cows you know. They also said that there was no egg in anything. But when I came another day the lady warned me for a dish in which there was egg.
We especiay liked the cantonese warm made dish and the vegetable pao bun. (In the steaming cabinet)
The food is served on reusable plates and with reusable cutlery but they do give single use plastic doggie bags / takeaway stuff.
Also: close to them there is an reverse osmosis water station where you can refill your water bottle / tank really cheaply. They have it everywhere in Kl amazing!
Pros: Reusable plates and cutlery, Pre cooked or fresh, Cheap
Cons: Unclarity about eggs

Really really good. - Edit
Granted, they do not skimp on the salt. But I never found anything too salty. They do have very convincing mock meats (may contain dairy??), but they were also very well prepared! And even the simplest soup that comes with the buffet, was tasty. And they have brown rice. They are really good. Didn't try anything on the menu.

The best veggie buffet - Edit
We have been to many different buffet style Asian veggie restaurants but this one is by far the best. They have plenty of vegetables in different sauces and for the mock meat lovers there is a very big range of fake meats. There is one dish in particular that scared us because it is EXACTLY like Asian style fried chicken. We asked the staff twice if it was really veggie because we couldn't believe it at first. It's a busy place which confirms the quality of the food. Me and my partner had two full plates (massive, we made mountains out of the food) and only paid 27ringgit (about 6£). A lovely lady offered us some free infused lotus tea because it's good for the heart she told us. We will be here tomorrow for breakfast! :)

Quaint, friendly, delicious - Edit
Very cheap food (buffet was 6RM for a full plate!), filling, delicious, lots of variety; mock meats, different types of tofu, rice, vegetables...the staff were so kind and helpful. It is an open restaurant so no doors and it's not decorated but for hungry tourists it's perfect. There is also a shop inside selling Malaysian vegan treats, also vegan mayo etc.

This place is pack with locals at lunch. There are up to 30 dishes available in the buffet. There is a huge variety: mock meats, tofu, buns, and a lot of veggies dishes. It is also very cheap even if you pack your plate (6 ringgits). Highly recommended!

Fantastic Value - Great Food - Edit
I felt that this place was way above average for inexpensive vegetarian buffets. There was a good variety. I tried many of the dishes and found them to be quite tasty. The staff is very friendly. It would be hard to beat this for value. There are a lot of mock-meat and tofu dishes (which I like). The vegetable dishes taste very fresh. The place is located where shown on the map, but there are quite a number of buffet restaurants on this street. It is next to a KK Convenience store, and if you look up there is a sign saying "Sweet Vegetarian". Some on the staff speak English. Highly recommended.
Read moreI noticed that another reviewer suggested taking only a few different items because they charge you per item. I haven't found this to be the case. Sometimes I sample small amounts of as many as ten different dishes and I seem to be charged the same 7 Ringgit (I don't overfill the plate). So you might want to experiment. There is also complementary soup.

Amazing buffet - Edit
Hey guys, San Sann Vegetarian is and amazing restaurant. The buffet has different stuff every day. I recommend you to take less different dishes and more of the few you take because they charge you more if you take various dishes. So rather take 2 or 3 different things and go there more often!

KL Favourite - Edit
Excellent buffet range of vegetable, tofu and mock meat dishes with a choice of white or brown rice; a la carte items from around RM 5 upwards. I particularly enjoyed their bak kut teh (with brown rice on the side) and curry mee. If you're missing veggies and unable to cook, however, their self-service buffet is the way to go. Main downside is the arbitrary pricing system, which may see you paying twice as much for half the quantity (or vice versa) depending on the whim of the cashier.
Read morePros: good range of buffet dishes, reasonable prices, friendly service, coffee available
Cons: lack of veggies in a la carte dishes, ambiguous pricing system, pre-sweetened coffee

Really good buffet, nice atmosphere - Edit
This is a lovely buffet with over 30 choices, which all appeared to be vegan. Definitely no eggs used. I had a large serving of 3 choices plus rice for RM 6. It was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is cheerful and communal, with colourful decorations. It gets busy, so people sometimes share tables, which is nice and friendly.
