Hole in the wall, authentic sushi restaurant. A great place for vegans and non vegans. They have a separate vegan menu and over 40 vegan sushi rolls and many other dishes to choose from. We will go back for sure.

My wife and I both got the miso soup, followed by the Garlic Roll, the Icy Veggie Roll, the Banh Mi Roll and the Portobello Mushrooms Katsu Curry entree (all of which we shared). It was plenty of food and all rather delicious. We're new to town and this was the first place we've been to since moving and we are so pleased we chose this place! Very vegan-friendly and we will definitely visit again.

This might be my favorite non vegan restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is very nice, they ask if I wanted a vegan menu right when I came though the door, brought me vegan miso soup. The food is amazing got Goyza and 4 different types of sushi. Their vegan fish is amazing!!!!

The food was amazing. we don't live that close to the restaurant so we ordered a lot of food. Appetizer was the rock shiitake tempura. Entrees ordered were tofu hibachi and the curry vegan chicken. I def recommend both and the fried rice is a must. We also go the buddha and dynamite rolls. Both are great but definitely get the dynamite. To end the night you have to get the fried oreos.

Their sushi menu, customer service, & even the foods presentation are all excellent. A great date night spot, or even delicious to go. Perfect for a couple with one omnivore & one vegan, or a big group of friends. I’ve had vegan sushi in Los Angeles & even in Japan itself, & this place is just as good if not better! By far the best sushi I’ve ever had! Completely separate vegan menu which makes ordering very easy. The staff asked which menu I would like upon entering the restaurant. They also have vegan sauces! So good. Tempuras, brown rice, mock meats they have it all.

It really is a gem and it is so satisfying to order anything off a full menu without having to automatically eliminate half the menu mentally.
I really wish HC would let places like this rate five stars. Even though they do serve meat (come on people, it’s the south. They’d never make rent if they didn’t appeal to standard American omnivores), Sushiko clearly puts careful effort into attracting and satisfying a Veg clientele.

I've been vegan for 15 months now and have grown tired of the limited options at other Japanese restaurants. That was NOT the case at Sushiko! I visited for the first time today and they have a huge selection of vegan rolls and not just the simple, plain veggie rolls you might be accustomed to at other places.

First time going and I loved this place. I got the vegan chicken tempura roll, and added tofutti cream cheese and spicy sauce. It was delicious! The sauce really had a good kick to it. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the fact they have a full vegan menu is awesome.

I am so impressed with their (separate) vegan menu! I couldn't believe how many creative sushi rolls there were and you can tell they put a lot of effort into this menu with vegan meats, vegan cream cheese, and lots of vegan sauces. I highly recommend the LV14 roll (sweet potato tempura, avocado, and baked shiitake mushrooms)

It never occurred to me that a sushi restaurant would have vegan options, but after reading out this place on Happy Cow we decided to give it a try. Sure enough, it has an entire vegan menu. I talked with the owner and she said that they make all their sauces in house.

We were so pleased with Sushiko! They have an entire vegan menu which they offered to us when we walked in. It was also very creative; not just your basic stuff. We got the tempeh fried rice (delicious), mushroom katsu curry, and vegan chicken curry. They also gave us complimentary fried Oreos for dessert! Wonderful food and service. Need to go back several times to try more menu items!
