Authentic Trinidadian/Caribbean Food - Plentiful Vegan Options! - Edit
Love, love, love the delicious vegan platters with rice and collard greens (BBQ vegan "meat" is our favorite), hard-to-find vegan roti with curry vegetables, and hand-pies AKA veggie patties (similar to "pasties"). The only downside is that not all vegan menu options are available on any given day, so it's best not to get your hopes up too high for any one item, but still, there are so many bountiful choices you'll likely find another favorite if this happens to you. Service is usually friendly and accommodating. As another reviewer mentioned, because the New Deal Cafe no longer offers anything vegan, it's fantastic to have this great restaurant in Greenbelt's Roosevelt Center along with the Cedars of Lebanon and the Greenbelt Food Co-Op, which offers vegan beverages and food as well!

Great vegan selection - Edit
I cannot sing their praises enough. I feel very grateful to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. Half the menu is vegan, which provides many options of Caribbean food. After New Deal Cafe got rid of their vegan menu, Sunrise really helps fill the void.
