Thai food restaurant located opposite Bangkok Centre hotel, north of Rama 4 road, near Hua Lampong railway & MRTA station. Take subway to end at "Hau Lamphong" station, take exit 3, backtrack on Rama 4 (head east) for 70 meters to Soi Trokphrayasinghaseni, turn left, and the restaurant is on the right with a "vegetarian" sign written in English. Mostly vegan however reported serving egg noodles. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-9:00pm.

Delicious! - Edit
You can believe most of the hype about the food here - seriously good flavours and textures, soooo many vegan options, and really great value. A mix of Thai and Chinese style food.
Read morePortion sizes weren’t super-generous, so we needed 4 dishes for the two of us, but that wasn’t too much of a worry, as the prices are very reasonable.
Would definitely come back again!

My fav place in Bangkok - Edit
It is ideal place for food-price ratio. We and our veg and non veg friends fall in love this place! We did't stop the fact that we lived on the other side of town.
Read moreLarge menu on English with photos, very good prices and also good size portions! Many variations vegan mock meats and not many non vegan dishes in menu - it so good. Very friendly staff (with little english) and amazing food! We offer ate in this place and make take away orders also. So miss about this good place.
Be prepared for the fact that there may be a lot of visitors , especially in the evening!

It’s definitely my favorite place in BKK. Every time in BKK we needed to visit this place our every day of trip. Last time (in end of 2019) we visited this place every day until been in BKK. It was amazing as usually. They opened near cafe the shop with vegan items and frozen mock meat section. It was perfect for us - we brought many vegan products for us and for our home in Russia after dining.
Pros: So tasty food, Many vegan mock meat, Inexpensive
Cons: Small cafe

So Many Choices - Edit
Very large menu with photos and both English and Thai titles offers many options from hot pot to rice dishes.

Enjoyed the Tom Yum a lot, the pork dishes were great and the veggies were very fresh.
They have a small vegetarian shop attached if you are looking for some canned instant meals or supplies.

Cons: Crossing the road from Hua Lomphong is dangerous

My current favorite in Bangkok - Edit
For me, its definitely worth the trip to Ruyi! When I come to Bangkok, I want to eat Thai food with Thai people and the crowds here let you know it hits the mark. The flavors are just what I'm looking for, fresh made to order and served with pride. I had a crispy salad and the tom yam on my most recent visit, it made me so happy! We hit up 9 vegetarian spots in Bangkok last week and for me, this was my favorite. Western fusion is boring for westerners, and thai food served at tourist vegan would most often not pass the test for Thai people. I'm still in shock that some of these other top rated places on here will try to pass off a blob of bland noodles - the kao san vortex is not working for me and overpriced mall vegan is only my thing when I really need a salad. So if you want real thai made to order at normal prices, give this a try!

Sit down menu style vegetarian Thai - Edit
Small restaurant with friendly staff. Large meal for two cost 270bht (at the moment around 9usd). Yummy Thai flavors that for me where on point. Large selection of mock meat (I always worry about these products not being vegan so please research which ones work for you). There are plenty of things to choose from.

Fantastic option near railway station - Edit
This small restaurant is just great. Many option and typical fish or meat meals are making from tofu. I have duck and it was the best vegan food I have in Thailand. Vegetarian deep fried chicken was also tasty. Me and my girlfriend honestly recommend it.

Good option near the train station. - Edit
I've eaten here a few times and can say this place it great if you just got off the train or are waiting to depart. But I'd say it's not worth visiting otherwise. The food is good but it's a little overpriced. You can find better elsewhere (but not near the train station!) The menu is mock meat heavy and difficult to find something simple. Everyone gets hot tea for free, but for some reason if you are farang you automatically get iced tea with a plastic straw. Not sure why. The staff are friendly.
Read morePros: Good location near the train station., Mostly vegan
Cons: Unclear where the non vegan stuff is, Plastic straws and cold tea, A tad overpriced.

Perfect flavors! - Edit
We ordered a Pad thai and a Tom Yum. Pad Thaï was good but not the best we've eaten. Tom yum was really good! Perfect balance of flavors, not too spicy. We took away curry rice which was so perfect!

Super legit - Edit
Small place with a few tables, seems to be frequented by locals of all ages plus travelers. Shared a table with some friendly folks who seemed to be regulars. Menu is full of fake meat so if you are into that sort of thing, here it is in abundance! Yum.

Tom yum soup with rice noodles was banging! And morning glory on the side - I was indeed a happy cow!! It was super busy, so expect to share tables with others and you wait a bit longer for your food than at other places, but it was defo worth the wait! Bon appetite

Mediocre - Edit
It is a local spot, there were surprisingly no foreigners inside. Even more surprising, it was really empty. We didn‘t have to wait at all. Had the tom yum soup and some fake duck. Taste was average and didn’t even look like on the photos.

Local restaurant with plenty of dishes - Edit
I ate there two days in a row. The restaurant is 100% vegetarian and it is marked on the menu when a dish has egg noodles. They have a wide range of dishes (soup, curries, rice, fried mock meat...). It’s a local and very affordable restaurant so don’t expect high luxury and western burgers :p

Loved it - Edit
This place has excellent food. You might have to wait for a table and/or food as the place is very popular. Better to go when relaxed about time to enjoy it best. A good place to go to to taste some dishes that are traditionally meaty. Seems to be a Chinese Thai mix. Especially the fried wonton was great. We paid 210b for three dishes.
