Not good at all :(

This was one of the only times I’ve walked out a place & left the food.

The place seemed dirty, I had a bad feeling from the start. The food did not taste nice it did not seem fresh and was greasy.

Then I saw the review from other people saying the food had made them sick so I made my excuses and left

Pretty bad

Quite tasteless and lukewarm. 8£ so worth it if you’re very hungry. If not go somewhere else. #Veganuary

Pros: Cheap, Quiet, Salad was lovely

Cons: Poor quality, Poor service

Great value but very beige food

Was a little apprehensive after reading recent reviews but experienced no issues to report. Loads of choice, and can't argue with the cost (£10 unlimited buffet). Food a little bland though and all seemed to be quite oily and greasy. Would I go back? Possibly if I was in the area, but I wouldn't rush to.

Good food and bargain price

No frills place with a great buffet selection, just over the road from the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Food was spot on and staff friendly.
The coconut tapioca dessert was a real surprise and yummy!

Pros: Price!, Good choice of dishes, Location

It's gross, dirty, and made me ill

I was violently sick after eating here. The place was dirty, the food was cold/lukewarm and super oily. I've eaten all around London and never seen a place as dirty as this. It may be cheap but it's not worth the stomach cramps and sickness after. Avoid.

Good buffet for a good price

The buffet was very tasty and plentiful. Ingredients that are semi-common to be are listed under the item.
And it only costs £10

Does the job

To-fu is a typical Chinese buffet but vegan it's very cheap less than 10 pounds for all you can eat but don't expect food that will blow your mind expect comfy tasty food and being less than 10 quid you can't complain that much its good for what they offer.

Pros: Vegan buffet , Affordable pricing , Food is classic comfort Chinese food

Cons: Nothing is amazing but nothing was bad either, Could have some steamed dumpling options , Restaurant is a bit basic in decor

Cheap and very cheerful full me!

I wavered on the 4 to 5, but decided on the 4 because as it's all vegan and very good value for money, it's not really a 5 star atmosphere and if limited to time in London I'd prioritise somewhere more expensive and creative. But then you're not paying for that. I preferred the chicken dishes to the one tofu dish they had (I love tofu). I loved piling on the cabbage and broccoli and pretending I was being a bit healthy! If you accept it for what it is - all you can eat greasy Chinese food - it's wonderful.

It's ok

I had a mixed experience here. The food is really cheap at just £8 for an all you can eat lunch buffet (or £9 for dinner) and some of it was quite tasty, but the quality was lacking. As I was eating the food I found it relatively enjoyable but it did feel very unhealthy. It was also lacking in vegetables and quite a few of the dishes labelled mixed veg dishes didn't even contain any vegetables. The ‘vegetable tempura’ was one such example – it contained no vegetable and instead seem to be made of a kind of dough, I'm not sure what it was. Unfortunately, the food also irritated the roof of my mouth to the point that I regretted eating here for the rest of the day.

The restaurant itself was also pretty dirty and I'm not sure I would trust what was going in the food.

Overall I think it's okay if you're just looking for a large meal at a cheap price but I wouldn't return here myself.

Pros: Lots of food for a cheap price, Some of it was quite tasty

Cons: Food irritated the roof of my mouth, Food lacking in veg and general quality, Dirty restaurant

Great value & junky

It's our fav place in London when it comes to cheap Thai food all you can eat! Moreover, the food is just mouthwatering.

Be aware, you get what you pay for so do not complain about the nutritional aspects or representation of the food.

The atmosphere is also quite poor so it is definitely not a place to bring a date or impress a friend - unless they love cheap junk.

Dirt cheap - meh food

All you can eat for 8 pounds sounds like it would be nearly guaranteed 5 stars. While Tai buffet had the quantity I needed lean back and pop open the button on my jeans, the quality was lacking.

To me the food seemed as if it had been sitting out all day in trays that weren’t heated, and previously had potentially been in the freezer for god knows how long. But on the other hand, 8 pounds, all you can eat.

The cheap, greasy, salty Chinese food that was sitting in silver trays all day embodied at least to me, all of the qualities of proper British food. I realised as I was feeding, that by British standards, this was a good quality Chinese. You pay for the quantity, and compromise on the quality. With a bit of grease and salt, the Brits won’t complain.

At the end of the day it was a buffet, which means you could pick and choose which dishes you like, to then consume large quantities of said dishes. Let me just say this: you already know I left with a tum tum that was about to erupt from both sphincters. niki_nine was ultimately satisfied.

this is why Tai Buffet gets a 4 stars from me

Pros: Cheap all you can eat, Nice staff, Interesting

Cons: Greasy, Salty, Kind of dirty

Everything vegan but oily

I like that everything served on the buffet line are vegan. You’re given a plate and fork, and start digging in. Jasmin tea is free flow. Only miss points are food tend to be oily and most items are gluten. It’s quite salty too. Ventilation aren’t too good as it’s open kitchen concept. Cleanliness so so.

Pros: Everything vegan , Economical

Cons: Cleanliness and ventilation can be better , Fried and oily food

For all vegan buffet in London must be worth something right? However, other than that, the food is less than impressive

Omg best Chinese buffet ever

I never thought I'd eat Crispy duck again since going vegan but theirs is soooo much better than eating a poor defenceless bird!
