What a gem - Edit
Stayed in east London and went 1h out of our way to visit -- an absolute banger!! Delicious, the amount of vegan meat substitutes is staggering, couldn't stop eating (to own detriment). The place is small but we could find 6 spaces on saturday afternoon.

I used to love this place, then it got bad after the refurb. Glad to report they’re good again! Food quality is much improved from when I last visited a year or so ago!

Amazing food and outstanding value - Edit
Went here on a weekday lunchtime with my partner to celebrate my birthday. Our expectations were high and were still exceeded. The range of dishes is enormous - like getting to eat the entire menu at a Chinese restaurant and all of it vegan. The quality of the food is high - we both liked almost everything we tried and most things were absolutely delicious. The value for money is second to none; we both arrived very hungry, left completely stuffed, and spent less than £30 between us including three drinks and a tip. The premises were clean; the toilet is downstairs so perhaps not accessible for people with mobility issues, but it was also clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Read moreThe huge choice of dishes included soup with a variety of wontons; prawn crackers and toast; various fried starters such as spring rolls; a range of hot main courses with noodles and rice; an extensive range of cold dishes; fresh fruit; and a tasty coconut tapioca dessert. Some dishes contained mock meats, others contained vegetables, plus there was a delicious mapo tofu. The cold dishes were as tasty as the hot ones. If you like broccoli, mushrooms, bean sprouts, soya chunks and Chinese sauces (in my case, yes to all of the above) then you will be a happy bunny! Some reviewers have said the food is greasy; that is definitely true for the deep-fried items, but there were other dishes that were healthier, including some that were fresh salad items, so you can choose how heavy you want your meal to be. Personally, I am someone who usually eschews grease and oil, but honestly, everything here was so tasty that I just saw it as a treat and integral to the meal. And the dessert is very light.
It took me well over an hour to get there but I will definitely be back. This place is an absolute winner.
Pros: Huge range of dishes, Delicious food, Outstanding value for money
Cons: Wish they would open a branch nearer to me! xD

Unglaublich lecker! - Edit
Es ist ein kleines, unscheinbares Restaurant mit einem veganen „All you can eat“-Buffet. Die Auswahl ist riesig – total leckeres und authentisches Essen! So viele verschiedene und unglaublich geschmackvolle Gerichte zum Auswählen habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen, vor allem nicht in veganer Form. Auch der Service ist sehr freundlich.

Man sollte das Restaurant auf jeden Fall ausprobieren.

You should check out their proper restaurant in camden called “vegan planet”. They’re both part of the same company.

My first vegan buffet - Edit
This is a great location if you want a buffet and haven’t had a buffet in years, this is how I felt after going vegan. The food is not super high-quality, but it’s slightly high-quality than you expect from a buffet so that’s amazing!!

Good value but quite oily - Edit
It’s incredible value but we weren’t crazy about it. There was a lot of choice and I tried a little of everything. Many dishes were quite oily. I preferred the salad bar with the garlic broccoli, sesame bean sprouts, orange slices, and fruit slices. We made a special trip across London for this place and it wasn’t really worth it on a Sunday. If you’re in the area it’s worth checking out. Cheap and cheerful kind of place.

Eat like a king for a tenner! - Edit
Su buffet is a great all-vegan buffet restaurant with a huge range of hot and cold dishes. Some are based on fake meats, but there's also plenty of fresh veg (I can't undertsand how they make the brocolli so tasty!). They now have a vegan shop at the back too. Always good fun and very good value.

Just Great! So much fun, so much fooood! - Edit
I have been a massive fan of this place for years and visited it through all its different iterations and names. What is particularly great about this place is that you have a real choice to construct dishes that are super healthy or super 'indulgent' or a mix and it's all fun and interesting.
Read moreThe stand-out dish (new for me) was a wonderfully spiced hot Szechuan mock beef with black funghi and roast potatoes with broccoli labelled "Dry Spicy Wok", it was kinda incredible and I kept going back for more.
It's a shame that seating is more limited now they have a shop in the back. But, where else can you get Vegan duck pancakes, spring rolls, your pick of 20+ dishes, salad and tapioca and mango jelly for dessert with fruit for about a tenner! A great way to spend a few hours with friends and then spend the rest of the afternoon in a post-carb-fest-haze.

Vegan buffet for £9.99 - Edit
Formerly Tai Veg which had a branch in Hong Kong causeway bay but closed decades ago, there is a branch in London now rebranded as Su vegan.
Read moreAlthough I was aware I didn't ever go because I didn't like the staff there which were so unfriendly.
It's now much nicer with English speaking staff which is reflected by more customers.
Anyway, I loved the green ginger sauce on potatoes, the duck for pancakes were so dry so I put mince instead from the aubergines dish.
Highlights were corn soup, mapo tofu, potatoes and green ginger sauce, sago dessert.
The mapo tofu was really tasty because it was strong on the miso bean side but not spicy.
Plates are small like side plates which is good in a way for those without self control and it stop those people who take a large quantity of the same item leaving nothing for others.
Overall dirt cheap and delicious vegan buffet with peace and quiet yet civilised.
