Amazing food - Edit
Came here on our first night in Florence wanting a break from pasta, and so glad we did.
Read moreThe place is a bit beaten up, and the seating is uncomfortable and the tables too small (it's a small place so I get it- we ordered a a lot of food though and couldn't fit it on!)
The service is efficient, but not overly friendly- to be honest I quite enjoyed the don't give a f*** attitude but I think it might put some off haha!
The food is absolutely worth it either way though. The black seitan was phenomenal- one of the best seitans I've ever had, the rub on it was just incredible. The kimchi pancakes were really good, never had anything like this before, and the vegan duck with hoisin had an amazing batter. The tofu and chives dish was also really good.

Cibo di eccezionale qualità. I miei piatti preferiti in assoluto sono il seitan al cumino, il taro fritto e il kimchi, ma tutti quelli che ho provato sono assolutamente fantastici. Peccato soltanto che non facciano almeno un dolce.

Literally our favorite place to eat in all of Florence, love the tofu dishes as well as the taro and dumplings. Amazing place with amazing staff and I still think of this place many years later wishing I could eat here again.

We ate here twice in three days. Our favorite restaurant in Florence, especially after the third marinara pizza. Worked well even with my peanut allergies, as the server was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Servers were very friendly and the service was fast.
Even if it's not on the menu, you can ask for rice if you want to.

Ristorante cinese completamente vegetariano (l'unica cosa non vegana nel menù, in realtà, è l'uovo, che in ogni caso è presente solo in pochi piatti). Il locale è abbastanza piccino ma molto accogliente, la commessa/cameriera è gentilissima. Non essendo un fast food ed essendo tutto preparato al momento c'è un po' da aspettare ma le porzioni sono decisamente abbondanti, è sufficiente un piatto senza antipasto per saziare. I piatti piccanti lo sono al punto giusto da non risultare fastidiosi dopo due bocconi (almeno per i miei standard). Uno dei piatti che abbiamo ordinato al momento non era disponibile ma la cameriera ha subito proposto un'alternativa e in definitiva è stata un'esperienza piacevole e da rifare. #Veganuary

It seems that it went fully vegan now ( still a vegetarian dish in the menu with egg). This place has very tasty dishes. Unfortunately we couldn't try any seitan dishes despite coming back like 4 times. We were still very happy with all our what we chose. Our favourites were the kimchi pancakes, bibimbap, roasted eggplant with garlic, dumplings and the tofu with vegetables was delicious too. Definitely recommended if you crave asian food and you are vegan.

I wish there was an offer for 1 starter and 1 or 2 dishes, because it adds up quickly when you want to compose your meal, and you don't really know how big the plates are going to be.

I was here for dinner tonight and asked if I had a reservation. I said no and was told either I could sit outside or inside in the back. There are only two tables with people here at 8 pm so we just went outside. No large parties showed up for the next 45 mins that we were there.
Read moreAnyway, we ordered open dumpings (not good), steamed dumplings (these tasted like they had gone bad for sure and the sauce they serve to dip the dumplings was terrible too), spicy seitan (spicy sauce with seitan pieces and red/green bell peppers and peanuts) with no rice served on the side until we asked for rice and were charged for it, and a dish made with peanut butter, tofu, glass noodles and veggies (tasted like sour vinegar). The rose tea was hot and watered down. The coconut juice served in the can was great.
This is the first time that a restaurant rated so highly by happycow has been such a bad experience. I checked all the one star Google reviews just now and they are all spot on. AVOID since there are plenty of other vegan places in Florence. This place isn't all vegan anyway (they serve egg) and pricey for the terrible food (55 Euros).
