Average restaurant with vegan cheese

Read more in this vegan Kaohsiung guide: https://itravelforveganfood.com/vegan-kaohsiung-guide/

In this vegetarian restaurant near Fongshan West Station (Kaohsiung City Council) station you can find pizza made with vegan cheese. The menu is clear of which ones are vegan or can be made vegan.

This tuna vegan cheese pizza is freshly made with potatoes, corn, tomato, bean and some veggie tuna. It also comes with vegan cream cream and thousand island sauce. The base is a bread/toast type of base, but unfortunately it is not very crispy despite being baked fresh.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked, Good prices

Cons: Food is not amazing

Nice food and cozy place

They got clear menu for cozy both lacto-ovo vegetarian and vegan menu.

The QQ ball is so nice! Sweet potato and taro filing inside!! I like the purple one so much!! It’s not oily at all!! 😋😋

The vegan pizza is something new for me as I first time see French bean as pizza topping. The ingredient is fresh and the auntie staff told me they don’t use canned food. The pizza base is also handmade from scratch. Overall the pizza tastes refreshing with just nice crunchiness. I kind of love it, it’s between raw pizza and traditional pizza.

Many items on the menu are not available as the place is currently run by 2 elder ladies and lots of items are handmade. Hence it might take a little longer waiting time especially when the restaurant is crowded.

Pros: Cozy place

Cons: A lot of items on the menu not available

Good Western-Style Food, A Bit Overpriced, Out of the Way

This place has a great menu with pictures of everything and a separate vegan menu, but things are really hit-or-miss, so ask for recommendations. I've visited a few times and love their banana milkshake and classic waffles. Their standard hamburger/fries is decent, and chicken nuggets are great. Nice indoor place but too pricey, and 30-min bike ride from the MRT without a motor vehicle.

Also, this place isn't phenomenal but the other reviewer here seems to have had a particularly awful time - notice the place has a 4.7/5 on FB at the moment. Wait times were very fast the last time I came compared to the first time.

Pros: Western with a good selection of vegan items, Picture menu, Some tasty stuff

Cons: Far, Expensive, Hit-or-miss menu

worst restaurant ever

I was so disappointed when I got there. First of all the food took forever and they forgot one of our orders so we even had to wait longer. I don't know what kind of "sour cream" they use on their dishes. Maybe it was already bad?! I got severe stomach pain from eating there. A burrito which contains potato was really weird too. The vegan cheese was way too sweet. I don't know why but everything had some kind of artificial taste. I would not recommend to go there and I will never go there again either

Cons: expensive and small portions, service too slow, bad food
