Great food with a great mission - Edit
We were so excited to eat at Strecha tonight. The restaurant is large and bright. When we first entered we thought it was small, but the restaurant is in the shape of an L and has about three separate seating areas on the long arm. We sat in the very end room which had a couch with a low table and a chess set and a monopoly game. Our servers were very nice and spoke to us in English.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings on red cabbage and the fried cheese with fries. It was great to get to try some traditional Czech dishes veganized. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - we sadly weren't able to finish our meals because we ran out of room.
We were happy to purchase a pending meal for someone in need.

Good food ‘under’ Streha - Edit
We ate traditional Czech food and it was good. It was tasty, but a little too cold for servings. I prefer they would serve warmer food.

First vegan dinner in Prague - Edit
Our first night in Prague startet perfectly, because we ate very good at this restaurant. We ordered dumplings and ‘schnitzel’ and both dishes were really good, we didn’t like cold potato salad so much.

Great atmosphere, food, and mission - Edit
I was so happy to support Strecha’s mission. I tried the fried cheese for a classic Czech meal and I loved it. I will continue thinking about it for a long time. I liked the addition of the salad on the side. The overall atmosphere inside felt warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Prague

Would say it is one of the best places in Prague to try authentic Czech Cuisine but veganized. The Daily menu but also the à la carte dishes are very delish.

Fantastic Dining Experience with a Social Mission - Edit
A fantastic place that veganizes Czech and Eastern European dishes. The service was very friendly! The social aspect and the mission behind it should be adopted by many more establishments! I had the stuffed dumplings with red cabbage, which tasted absolutely heavenly! You can prepay for a (half or full) meal, which will be given to someone in need. Serves a variety of alcoholic drinks (beers, ciders, wines, cocktails, and shots), homemade lemonades, coffees, and teas.

Very tasty food in a friendly place - Edit
Since I was in Prague I wanted to eat traditional food in the vegan style. And I wasn't disappointed. It is a relatively spacy place with very friendly staff. Although it was almost full, the food was served only a short time after ordering. I had Halusky, that was delicious. And the prices are for my opinion rather low. Highly recommended!

We quite liked it. My portion was a bit less.

The staff was really fast, which is good on the aspects of not waiting too long and made it a bit uncozy. Your empty plate went in the second you finished the last bite.

Cons: Staff too fast

1st meal in Prague - Edit
Looking to eat as much traditional Czech food as possible so I went with the goulash. I’ve never had goulash before and I enjoyed it. I didn’t know how it is suppose to be eaten so I just soaked the sauce up with the bread. Looking forward to trying more traditional dishes.
