Amazing food

This place easily became one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Belgium. We had the ‘calamari’, bruschette, carbonara, cacio e pepe, tiramisu, and pistachio affogato. For drinks, we went for the seasonal cocktail. Everything was amazing, but the calamari and carbonara were especially phenomenal! We liked the cacio e pepe too, but compared to the carbonara, it had a milder taste. The restaurant itself is really cosy. Overall a great experience, can’t wait to go back asap!

Beste pasta in jaren 💚

Heerlijk gegeten, we hadden de special met gnocchi en de carbonara. Vooraf hadden we een fantastische plank. Ga zeker weer!

Pros: Eten was heerlijk, Mooie locatie

Cons: Wel wat prijzig

What a lovely place

I love the interior design of their new venue; I felt so calm due to the light earth tones and due to the warm light. The food I tried tasted awesome. I had the mushroom pasta and a tiramisu.

Pros: Friendly staff, Tasty food, Peaceful interior design

Cons: Not sure how much is organic

Best vegan pasta

I ate here with 2 non-vegan friends and we all loved the food. These pastas were so good and fresh, we all loved it. Also really recommend the calimari starter, but the cheese platter looked really good as well if you are with a larger group.
Also this tiramisu is the best vegan tiramisu I had in the 5 years I’m vegan. Do make a reservation beforehand to prevent any disappointment! Our first day in Antwerp we were here at 18, when it opens, but it was already fully booked.

Amazing vegan Italian food

It is on the expensive side and they don’t serve free tap water which is always a shame but the food is incredible- I’ve had the vegan carbonara both times I’ve visited and it’s truly delicious

Pros: Amazing food, Nice vibe

Cons: Charged €5 for 500ml of water 😳

Great italian food

The place looks great inside and there's enough space between the tables so it doesn't feel crowded, which we really appreciated.

The calamari fritti and the bruschette caprese were seriously good.

The pasta carbonara and the cacio e pepe were creamy, flavorful, and just really well made.

A great spot if you're in the mood for Italian food.

Amazing vegan Italian food (I'm Italian 🤭)

As an Italian, I was naturally very curious to try Spritz Antwerpen, especially given the often limited options for vegan dishes back home. I was incredibly excited to discover a place so dedicated to plant-based Italian cuisine.
We started by sharing the "small calamari," which were ingeniously made with oyster mushrooms. They were surprisingly tasty and a fantastic vegan take on a classic. For our main courses, we opted for the vegan amatriciana and carbonara – and both were absolutely delicious! I particularly enjoyed the carbonara; it had a wonderful creamy texture without being overly rich or drenched in cream, striking a perfect balance. The amatriciana was equally impressive, tasting remarkably authentic to the traditional version. 😍
To conclude our meal, we shared the tiramisu, which was simply "to die for." It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. While we sipped the limoncello and Amaro del Capo on this occasion, the entire experience left a lasting positive impression.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Spritz Antwerpen to anyone, vegan or not, looking for delicious and authentic Italian flavors with a creative plant-based twist. I can certainly see why it's considered one of the top-rated restaurants – it truly lives up to the hype!

Classy Vegan Italian

I was really looking forward to visiting this place - fully vegan Italian restaurants are still pretty rare, so this was a must on my list. Be sure to check opening hours beforehand, since they’re not open every day, and it’s definitely a place where reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups. We were lucky to get a table without one!
The interior is modern, beige-toned, and minimalistic - not exactly my personal vibe, but it felt elegant and high-quality. Comfy seating and beautiful wooden tables gave it a cozy yet upscale feel.
To drink, we ordered the Pompelmo Spritz mocktail – and although I personally didn’t love the taste, I truly appreciated having a more exciting, non-alcoholic option on the menu. That’s a rare find and a big plus!
As a starter, we had the Bruschette al Pomodoro - six pieces, super fresh and delicious. For mains, we had to try the Calamari Fritti, since it was marked as a “must try” on the menu. While they were tasty and well-prepared, I’ve had other vegan calamari that came closer to the real thing in texture and flavor – this version felt like a modern, healthier fine-dining interpretation rather than a direct substitute.
I went for the La Carbonara as my main dish. It was very flavorful and creamy, though nothing revolutionary. Unfortunately, it was overloaded with pepper – something not mentioned on the menu. I couldn’t finish it and passed it to my friend, who actually loved the bold peppery flavor and high-quality spice. So: a matter of preference – and sensitivity.
We were too full for dessert, although I wish I’d had room for the tiramisu – it looked absolutely delicious on the neighboring tables!
Overall, a lovely evening with high-quality ingredients and clear attention to detail. On the pricier side, definitely a fine-dining experience. Worth it for a special night, but perhaps not for every budget.

Very delicious

Food was so delicious, one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff was very friendly but worked quite fast which made us feel like we had to hurry up. Also not that many choices for drinks. But other than that, amazing Italian vegan restaurant!!

Perfection

The simplicity that expresses itself in beauty, where the interior blends with the quiet atmosphere of the restaurant.
The service is very friendly without any pressure, but correct and neat
The view of the open kitchen is beautiful where you also witness a friendly collaboration.
Every drink and dish is presented with refinement.
But above all, eating at Spritz feels like coming home.
It remains my most favorite vegan restaurant that i know of Belgium and its surrounding countries.

Pros: Fine italian vegan dishes, Fantastic interior , Friendly service

Cons: None

Wowwww

We ended up here on Saturday evening without a reservation for a little snack. It’s in the middle of the center and there is no vegan sign so I wouldn’t know this place, but thanks to happy cow we ate here.
We got some seats upstairs and after a while they moved us to a little spot downstairs that looked so cosy.
The food was amazing! We tried the calamaris plate for 2 and the bruschetta. Both very tasty and very good portion. The wines were yummie too.
Later we decided to order pasta. Also very tasty and good portion.
We stayed all night, good vibes and lovely staff.

Wonderful vegan Italian food

Really good fixed menu but also some specialties which are really worthwhile to come and visit often. It's not cheap, but definitely worth the visit. Definitely take the vegan calamari apetizer. The tiramisu is also really good!

Pros: Food! , Atmosphere, Friendly staff and nice overall vibe

Cons: Portions can be a bit small, take an apetizer!

Yes!!

I'm still in awe of what I ate yesterday at Spritz'! I really am a BIG Italian food fan. I do miss my mozarella and pecorino-days sometimes. But then there was Spritz and they cured my cheese-itch. One of my favourite pasta dishes - cacio e pepe - prepared perfectly with creamy cauliflower sauce and the best vegan parmasan I've had so far. I think I'm in love.

Love the atmosphere. Love the tiramisu. Love the Pinot Grigio. Top notch quality.

Even my sceptic husband ("No pizza at an Italian restaurant? What's this nonsense?!"), was very, very pleased with his food.

Update: I gave it another go and am still in love and pregnant with a delicious pasta carbonara foodbaby.

fabulous

Wonderful interior. Kind staff. Delicious food. They had a very tasty non-alcoholic aperol spritz and both the cannelloni (suggestion of the day) and the spaghetti alla carbonara were absolutely divine. For dessert we shared the tiramisu, 10/10 recommend, fluffy mousse (don’t know what else to call the mascarpone-esque cream) and not too overpowering on the coffee. Absolutely worth a visit!!
