Good portion size - Edit
Very big portion size for a fatty like me. I had the elote nachos. I really enjoyed it. Lots of options at the place. The margarita was decent but nothing amazing. Good donut and nice customer service

Diner with lots of options - Edit
Large menu with all day breakfast and burgers/wraps/salads.....and lots of donuts and ice cream options. Interior reminds of old school diner. Had food to go to the airport which always is challenging, would love to go back and try fresh options.

The best Diner Vegan - Edit
I love everything on their menu! Their chef salad is delicious and the tofu is just write. When I want to get crazy I get the buffalo nachos which are to die for! Ramsy's platter is also a go to for me. I've eaten almost everything on the menu and I have no complaints. After eating vegan all over the country this place is my favorite.

Delicious Gumbo and Po'boy - Edit
By far, the best gumbo that I have eaten in Fort Worth. The zucchini po'boy is also fantastic. Living in New Orleans for seventeen years kind of makes me an authority on this matter. ;).

Business turned south but not geographically. - Edit
Spiral Diner in Dallas was my first ever vegan restaurant experience. Being vegan for many years and having nowhere to go was difficult. Moving to Texas and having a place that filled that need was amazing. I will always have fond memories of the Spiral Diner. With that said, lately the service has completely tanked. I thought it was just bad staff, but after reading more about them, I now know it goes all the way up the food chain. Owners can take most of the blame. The move that they pulled by closing their Denton location and not telling any staff until the day of... that is a next level "burn in hell" kind of move. Sorry but I don't think there is anything that can save them in my eyes at this point. Owners may as well just get out of the business if they can't manage it better. Hope when that day comes their entire staff quits without any advance notice. Sure the menu is awesome, but definitely not worth the time and money spent. Rather give my money to a business that even at least pretends to care about its staff and customers.

Another favorite! - Edit
I’ve never had a meal here that I didn’t love (and I was too hungry to take a pic before the first bite)! The Cashew quinoa wrap is loaded with veggies and protein. The side I chose was a yummy dill potato salad.

I got the El Paso burger with quinoa patty. I really liked the party crispiness and it was a good portion. Surprisingly I liked the potato salad too. More mustard taste than mayo.
Read moreMy friend got the supreme nacho jr. It’s a big portion for one person. She really enjoyed it. The margaritas are very sour.
Our non vegan child at the table slurped down his peanut butter banana smoothie before his food came out and ate all his nachos. He is usually a picky eater. All three of us shared a cookies n cream cake for dessert. It wasn’t too sweet.
I got pancakes to go for the next morning. The staff kindly wrapped everything up for me and were extremely accommodating and nice throughout the whole evening. Everyone in our party said they will definitely eat here again.

Best Vegan Restaurant Ever! - Edit
Ate here on a trip to DFW and was blown away by this spot. Entirely vegan restaurant with a huge menu filled with diner food. Had my first milkshake since going vegan! Extremely delicious food and the staff was super nice. It doesn’t get much better than this!

We are not over this way much, but when we are, we love to stop at spiral diner! Delicious!!! I got the seitan quesadilla- so yummy! Messy, but delicious! My husband got the tofu scramble sandwich and that was seriously good. I’m getting that next time for sure. Can’t go wrong with this menu.

So good and so many options! - Edit
It's wild how much they have to offer! The elote nachos were great! I don't remember the name of the other, but it's a tofu scramble with guac served with tortillas. Both were amazing! The shakes were great, too. Love that Cookies and Cream. 🤤

Large vegan menu - Edit
We got a baked potato grilled cheese and TX hot chicken. Both items were good and I didn’t have any complaints other than how heavy the grilled cheese was, but that’s on me because what else was I expecting from potatoes in bread? The food I would give 4/5
Read moreMy real complaint was with the staff. We went around 4 on a Thursday and there were only a few other tables. Our waiter was nice when he came to us but we only saw him twice. At some point I guess it was break time for him because he was sitting there eating and on his phone and it took 15 minutes for somebody to come and acknowledge that we were done eating
Pros: All vegan, Good food
Cons: Lacking in customer service

This is a staple resturant for sure. One of the first places I started going as a vegan. The food is good, service is great, and you can't beat the menu options. Sadly I belive some locations have closed, although I hope to see this business continue to flourish!

Recently dx with alpha gal in May of 2023 and it's been so stressful. My hometown has no option for eating out. I was so happy to find this diner while on a recent trip to TX. The food was so very delicious and tasted surprisingly better than non-vegan. I had the pancakes with sausage and bacon and a brownie and cc cookie. Will definitely be back my next trip.

This place is a gem in an area with few vegan options. The menu is expansive and creative, the food delicious, and the decor is adorable. I got the fajita quesadilla and loved the house-made seitan!

Yummy pancakes - Edit
The best vegan spot with the best pancakes! I’ve come here for breakfast for years and I’m just sad that the one in Dallas closed, but I like this location in Fort Worth better for parking purposes. I always order the Two Step with bacun. Sometimes I add blueberries to my pancakes if I’m feeling fancy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have cookies, shakes, cupcakes and several sweets to satisfy your sweet tooth.
