I love the SEA market! - Edit
The Southeast Asian Market is a great place to spend a couple hours. While it isn't always immediately clear who has vegan options, it's all the more exciting when you do find some, and there are several. It just requires a bit of looking around and talking to vendors.
Read moreThe food is very authentic and stands are often run by families. There are several picnic tables to eat at, but space is sometimes limited. However, if you bring a blanket and chairs, you could easily grab food and have a picnic.
My favorite foods so far have been the plantain and taro chips and the ube waffles. It's exciting to be able to try so many new things that I may have never even seen before.
Pros: Delicious, authentic food, Great prices, Beautiful park to spend time at
Cons: Lots of meat and meat smells, Ingredients are often not listed, Can be a language barrier, but people are friendly
