Tasty burgers with lots of good plant based options. They were out of the plant based egg when we visited which was a little disappointing. The chips were hot and crispy, cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and vibe did leave a little something to be desired and we saw two cockroaches scurrying across the floor while there 😬

Recently went for the first time in ages! My husband had the Mac burger and I had one of the new bowls the chicken one it was delicious! I’m not a fan of the chips but our strawberry milkshake we shared was good! I’m glad they have salad bowls as an option now!

We stopped by here for some dinner after looking for Sydney recommendations and were not disappointed. We ordered a fish burger with lime salted fries and a choc strawberry shake to split between the two of us and honestly that was all we needed. Will definitely attempt a return visit next time we are down!

We didn’t expect there to be so many vegan restaurants on one street but we are so glad we chose this place! The food was so good and really affordable too. The portions were massive. I ordered two sides and had so much food but I’m so glad i ordered them both the cauliflower was incredible, so crispy and the loaded fries were great. They also do a deal on Tuesdays for their tofu burger

I love that the menu has so many options! I need to try more! I really liked the Sydney Sider burger, I had a fried chicken one in the past that was even better, I tried the hoisin one my partner got and that was delicious. The fries are great. I didn't like the cauliflower though, bit hard and dry. The caramel milkshake was OK.

As a vegan I get pretty tired of veggie burgers being the main offerings. Not at soul burger, so many interesting combinations to try. I've previously had the southern fried chicken, it had the best chicken patty/fake chicken I've ever had. Today I had the buffalo chicken burger, the patty was a thinner patty. But it had so much flavour and so much sauce. Loved it. I also had some fries which were crispy and it's fun having different seasonings to choose from. I so wish I lived close to a soul burger, I'd work through the extensive menu.

Soul Burger has some of the best vegan burgers around. I love their creativity and ambition as they’re always inventing great new recipes and looking to expand. I’ve tried their stores at Newtown, Randwick, Glebe and Parramatta but the Glebe store is probably the one I’ve been the most - although I would highly recommend ALL of them! One of my fave Soul Burger memories was their April Fools prank ‘the Plant Based Disgrace’ which ended up becoming a real temporary menu item due to popular demand! Also the seasoning on their chips is delicious and are a perfect complement to any burger.

Read moreI tried a burger and a customized bowl here, and was happy with both dishes. The burger bun was soft and light, the seasoning was flavorful and there was a good amount of vegetables as well. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the milkshake, because it was more like a frothy milk soup that wasn’t even cold... (Personally, I like milkshakes as thick as possible.)
Since this is a self-service restaurant, you order and pick up food yourself at the counter. Prices seemed fair, and staff was friendly.
The store is spacious and offers tables with chairs and barstools.

We had the butter chicken burger, BBQ brisket burger, cauliflower bites, sweet potato fries and loaded fries. My brisket burger had a lovely texture with the barbecue flavour throughout and not too sweet. The cauliflower bites had a thin crispy batter and tasted great. The only element which disappointed was the loaded fries. The chips themselves were quite boring and the topping lacked depth of flavour too. It's a shame you can't get loaded sweet potato fries
