Already a new fav restaurant in Manchester - Edit
We loved our meal here. Inside, it's cosy & chic, with big green arches and an open kitchen. Best of all , Soots is named after the owners Ellie & Ruth's cocker spaniel
Read moreThey have a selection of small plates like arancini, heritage tomatoes w stracciatella, as well as larger pasta dishes that are handmade in front of you. They also have a selection of lovely wines.
Fav dish was the tiramisu and vodka pasta.

Nice with some room to improve - Edit
We booked a table at Soots a few weeks in advance and finally got to their dishes. We had two pasta dishes - ravioli which was great! and rigatoni which was a bit overcooked and bit bland. We also had two starters which were nice but I would probably try different ones next time😄All dishes were very rich and a bit heavy but I will be back to try rest of the menu ☺️

Delicious vegan Italian - Edit
We had a lovely time at Soots. Food was delicious and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend all of it really but the roasted artichoke and pumpkin risotto stood out in particular.

Worst Vegan Cooking in the World - Edit
If you can't cook food... Even basic food... Then do not open a food establishment, especially in the Northern Quarter where you would expect bangin food wherever you go.

Delicious Italian food - Edit
We had a lovely time at Spots. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered three pasta mains(the truffle ravioli, the rigatoni with lemon ricotta and the gemeli pea and mint), two smalls and one medium plate and that was great for the three of us. There is also a nice selection of desserts.

The food here is on another level, it’s so good! We actually stopped talking as the food was so good. We basically had one of everything and couldn’t decide which was the best, they were all that good. Would 100% recommend. Erin our waiter was amazing.

Really lovely cosy atmosphere inside, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic! All plant based which is really nice. I had the heritage tomatoes with stracciatella and basil oil. It was sweet, fragrant and so fresh! Also had the truffle ravioli with truffle cream and toasted hazelnuts which was a truffle lover's dream! Finished with ice cream drizzled in olive oil, I have never tried it before but I'm a convert it's so delicious!
