Great atmosphere

My wife and I had dinner here on a warm evening in mid-June after a longish journey. There were many people sitting outside but we chose to sit indoors and were pleased we did as it enabled us to see how hardworking and friendly the staff were to everyone and to each other, which I think is very important.

The food itself has a strong Asian feel although there were a few dishes, such as gazpacho and burger that had a more western feel. I have always found that Asian food lends itself to vegan dishes very well and the food on offer here was no exception. The presentation of the food was excellent, too.

The one very odd thing was that although almost everything on the menu was vegan, including all the desserts and the cheese on the burger, there was a single dish that wasn't, which was sea bass. Although we always prefer to eat at restaurants that are vegan/vegetarian, this did not bother us on the night because no one seemed to be choosing that item. It is very puzzling why they just have this one item - I almost felt that it was the equivalent of an omnivore restaurant having a token vegetarian dish. Anyway, without that, the review would have been 5*.

Pros: Very friendly and responsive staff, Lovely food, Good atmosphere

Cons: Not all vegan or even vegetarian

Fantastic Foody, many vegan dishes and options!

Wonderful menu, we had a hard time choosing between all the vegan dishes and options! We had starters and then Aubergine façon Mapo Tofu and Tigre qui pleure revisité: excellent! The staff is really nice too :)

Their menu is seasonal, and 90% vegan.

Dishes were really tasty, you can feel that details are important here !!!

They have a PISTACHIO riz au lait. Perfect.

Outstanding.

I really enjoyed this experience at Slow. The service was absolutely marvelous and the food delicious & homemade. Basically almost everything is vegan except 1 dish (fish) and 1 dessert. They are almost there!!! The flavours were insane and the prices are SUPER affordable. Cannot recommend enough this place!

Asiatic fusionvery refined 90% vegan

The Slow restaurant offers creative fusion cuisine with a maximum of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Almost the entire menu is vegan, and a fish option is also available.
The weekly menu features vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the menu changes every month.

I tasted :
- Peking-style buns, Le bao à la pékinoise (vegan) two homemade buns bao style, stuffed with shredded oyster mushroom, carrot, cucumber and leek, Chinese barbecue sauce.
- Gourmet cromesqui, made with brown rice, parsley, coriander, tofu, orange and ginger chutney and served with red cabbage marinated in Japanese miso.
- Le tartare à la Thai, tartare of Korean eryngii mushrooms, zucchini, red onions, Thai sauce made with tamari, ginger, Thai basil and garlic, served with crispy homemade sweet potato fries.
- Vegetable bourguignon (vegan), old-fashioned carrots, broccoli, shiimeji, shiitake, beechwood-smoked tofu, served with mashed potatoes and a gourmet bourguignon sauce.
- Coconut panacotta (vegan), with pear coulis, seasonal fruit, Thai basil
- Chestnut mousse (vegan), vegetable chestnut cream, chestnut cream, roasted chestnuts

The food is very refined and gourmet, I'm not a mushroom person but the tartare was very tasty.
The bourgignon included melting smoked tofu and the sauce was well worked.

The welcome was perfect, and the service was attentive to the customer's needs.

I hope the menu will be more plant-based, or at least vegetarian, in the medium term.

Pros: Welcome, choices

Cons: not enough vegan dessert

Finally!

Rue Daguerre is a charming street in the 14th but it had one flaw - lack of vegan food!!!! But not anymore. The price is also reasonable.

Pros: MUSHROOM KARAAGE, Cozy decoration
