Bright flavors and welcome variety

Really nice service and accommodating for vegan diners. We (2 ppl) shared the Pad Thai with tofu and the Green Curry with tofu along with a small bowl of rice. So full afterward we couldn’t even indulge in either of the two vegan dessert options (deep fried banana or mango sticky rice)! With a beer apiece, the damage came to less than $60 so it’s good value too. Recommend!

Pros: Variety of vegan options, Flavorful ingredients, Friendly service

Lots of vegan options

It wasn’t that busy when we went on a Friday night of a very busy long weekend. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about vegan and gf options. We tried the Tom Yum soup and it was very flavourful. We’re definitely going back to try more of their menu!

Great vegan pad Thai

This is one of my go to spots for take out. I usually get the Veggie Tom Kah (Hot and sour soup with coconut milk, tofu and veggies) and the vegan Pad Thai. Always consistently good and they have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options, everything from curries to soups to fried rice and noodles.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, Great prices, Super friendly staff and they are very quick!

A perfectly commonplace Thai

I had a decent moderate-priced vegetarian curry with rice there and a cranberry juice.
There is not much to say about Siam Thai Restaurant, since it is a run-of-the-mill Thai restaurant. As far as I am concerned there is no justification for the label "vegetarian-friendly" at least not more than any other random Thai restaurant.
That said there was nothing wrong with Siam Thai in particular. The juice however is from concentrate and with lots of sugar, so be warned.
At very least they knew the term 'vegan' and could recommend from the menu. (If you are vegan, ask before ordering, as some dishes are not vegan although no not-vegan ingredient is displayed.)

Pros: friendly staff

Cons: no vegan labels
