Tofu shop run by Obasaan

Tofu shop in the shotengai (Sun Road shopping district).
Lovely Obaasan run the shop :)
Cash only.
There are labels and signs, so you can work out which ones are vegan. Some items have eggs and milk and you need to read the labels, other items are obviously non-vegan, such as beef sushi and puddings. Be mindful the shop is small.
Google maps has a lot of reviews and photos showing what is available

Pros: Excellent price, Lots of tofu options

Tofu heaven

I love tofu in all shapes and consistencies, so I basically went all-out.

Be aware that there is no regard for vegans or any explicit marking here, though -- I guess the safest option is to read the ingredients. Most of the items in the dessert section near the register, for example, contain milk and eggs.

Even taking into account the frequent disregard for the moral side of veganism in Asia, I was expecting they would cater to allergies (I mean, why use cow's milk in a soy milk pudding...?), but I guess that was also too much to ask. Oh, well.

I had a mini heart-attack at the checkout because they accept cash only, so be prepared!! Thankfully, the prices for most products are reasonable.

Pros: Unique products, Delicious and high quality, Affordable

Cons: No allergy/vegan marking, Eggs and milk everywhere
