Le dîner avait bien commencé, le cadre est superbe.

Ensuite, un des plats de la carte n’était pas dispo. Cela réduit les possibilités.
Finalement, nous avons pris 2 entrées qui étaient merveilleuses. Les croquettes sont arrivées froides mais après l’avoir signalé, ils les ont remplacées par des chaudes.
Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de terminer de manger les entrées qu’on nous a amené les 2 plats.
On s’empresse de manger pour pas manger froid.
Le hot dog végétarien est bluffant, le plat au chou fleur est basique
Finalement le dessert, il a fallut attendre un moment avant de le voir arriver. Et il n’était pas top. Glace type carte d’or, moelleux au chocolat correct le tout entouré de poudre type nesquick.....
Nous avons attendu très longtemps les entrées. Il ne faut donc pas être pressé quand on va manger là bas

There is only ONE vegan option on the entire menu - hummus. For a place called Garden Kitchen, only having 1 vegan dish is pretty terrible. Upset I wasted my time coming here. Leaving hungry.

They seem to advertise as eco-concious and mainly plant-based but in reality just one dish, a starter, is marked as vegan in the menu. So feels like a bit of greenwashing. Lots of vegetarian options but plenty of meat as well. Two or three more dishes can be veganized on request.
Read moreI chose the vegan glazed meat that was just vegetarian according to the menu, so I'm not sure if they omitted something from the dish to make it vegan. The "meat" was absolutely fantastic! No idea what it's made of but the taste and texture were great and it didn't have the specific taste that Beyond has. The serving was TINY though. I'm talking one course of a 7-course fine dining menu tiny. And it cost 16 euros.
Since I was as hungry as before, I had a dessert as well. No completely vegan ones but the server who said she was vegan herself recommended the "Chocolate, peanut paste", which was a snickers brownie type thing, without the ice cream to make it vegan. It was alright but nothing special. Would probably be better with ice cream. No discount for not having the ice cream, of course.
Ambiance was nice, the whole hotel and restaurant have a plant theme.
All in all, if you have deep pockets and/or a small appetite, I'd recommend it just for the phenomenal vegan meat.

Wonderful food in a lovely setting - Edit
The space is Beautiful and colourful. Very nice staff. The menu is plant focussed with many vegetarian dishes and decent vegan options. The house made vegan meat (like a steak) is terrific. We also enjoyed the mezze platter rich in flavour. Everything is beautifully presented.
