Excellent Matcha & Vegan Pastries - Edit
So many unique coffee and matcha options! Wish the cold foam was vegan. Otherwise they have so many syrups to choose from: ube, banana, etc ($0.90). Specialty matcha drinks include Deja Vu (coconut) and Pop Quiz (pistachio) and Daydream (lavender) for $7. They offer oat, almond, soy milk options without upcharge. Regular matcha latte is $6.25 plus 0.90 for syrup.
Read moreLittle things I love: they use very small crushed ice which seem to help make my drink colder and not as watered down later, and the sippy cup lids which avoids using straws.
They have a huge case w a variety of pastries from Split Bakehouse, clearly labelling them as vegan compared to the non-vegan pastries carried by Selva.
Wonderful service, always. They will happily remake your drink to your liking. Plus they have a rewards program. Parking can be tricky since it's street parking (lot is reserved for the nursery).

My Weakness. - Edit
I just love this place. I have no real justification for spending $7 on a drink, but I always go back. I am dangerously close to being a regular. Selva’s is located inside a plant shop and has a charming vibe. They do not charge extra for vegan milk (a huge win to me!) and offer a decent selection of vegan goodies, including a row of vegan pastries and various refrigerated options. I enjoy their matcha drinks and have tried a variety of them. My only note is that some drinks can be quite sweet if ordered as-is, but the staff is always happy to make adjustments. If they started offering a vegan cold foam, my fate as a regular would be set in stone.
