Lots of tasty dishes to choose from. With it being a buffet you can try some of each. Fresh and wholesome food, and some delicious cakes on offer too.

Entirely vegan with a fantastic buffet choice. I could barely move after as I wanted to try everything. The cakes looked delicious too but I didn't have any room left. Lovely shady outdoor seating area.

Bevor ich meine Reise nach Köln begonnen habe, erstellte ich mithilfe dieser App eine Liste mit veganen Restaurants, die ich besuchen würde. Angefangen habe ich mit Sattgrün. Und dieser Besuch machte Lust auf mehr: Ich habe meinen Teller mit diversen Gerichten befüllt und jedes davon hat äußerst lecker geschmeckt. Die hohen Bewertungen auf Google und HappyCow kann ich durchaus unterstreichen. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Restaurant in Köln.

This is a good place to eat. There is a good choice of really interesting salads, some fake meat type dishes, but tofu too.
Read moreUnfortunately we were overcharged, but when we pointed this out they could not have been more obliging and rectified it immediately. It has lovely outside seats, but this meant people were smoking nearby.

Genug Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, ein Buffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt und richtig gut schmeckt. Ich wünschte ich wäre öfter hier, dann würde ich mich auf ein bis zwei Gerichte fokussieren (zB das Stroganoff), so hab ich Buffet Fräse gespielt und mich durchprobiert. Alles sehr lecker!

We had dinner at this restaurant. It offers a lot of dishes, both cold and hot (salads, soups, mains...) and also some desserts. There are many seats outside. We had a great time and the food was pretty good.

the outside area is also quite ok. It’s good that it’s huge with many tables, so you might find a table even if it’s a little crowded.

The concept was a little confusing as the worker had told me it was “buffet style” in which case I grabbed the smallest plate so I could refill it. However, it’s not buffet style at all, you serve yourself the quantity of food you want and they charge you according to the plate size. If I would’ve known, I would’ve gotten a bigger plate size! There are 3 plate sizes to choose from. Despite this, the food and homemade kiwi/yuzu drink was absolutely phenomenal and the pictures don’t do it justice! I cannot wait to go back. I wish I could have tried it all!

Mange lækre retter. Alt smagte godt. Mit yngste barn havde dog lidt svært ved at finde noget hun kunne lide, da alt var blandet sammen og krydret. Hun spiste stort set kun ris og kage.
Read moreMen ellers er det svært at pege på noget negativt. Det var virkelig hyggeligt og placeringen var god - midt i byen men helt roligt område. Vi nød at spise udendørs.

Sattgrün is a very common vegan restaurant chain, at least in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. You choose a dish (bowl, small or large black) and serve yourself. The price varies according to the size of the dish you choose. Good food and plenty of choice. Nice place and a good location, relatively close to Köln Hbf.

Hands down best buffet restaurant I've ever been to. Yes, the pasta is a bit overcooked, but the flavors here are amazing. All dishes are great and flavorful. No problem getting full either.
