Hectic atmosphere - Edit
Vegan pizza was decent but slightly bland so added some olive oil. The place was pretty hectic and it was difficult to get staff's attention even when it came to pay the bill. Would only really return here if going with an omni friend.

Pretty good - Edit
Nice space and very friendly staff. We ordered one each of the 2 vegan pizzas - a tomato, pea and almond, and a spinach, mushroom and chilli.
Read moreExcellent dough but the toppings were a bit sloppy. Thought the price was good though at €13 for each 12" pie. They also have all the good flavours of San Pellegrino.

La miglior pizza vegana! - Edit
Impasto della pizza ottimo e azzeccati gli abbinamenti. C’è un piccolo menù vegano ma ogni pizza può essere fatta con la mozzarella vegana di anacardi. Abbiamo preso anche il dolce ed era veramente buono!

Delicious pizza - Edit
This place was AMAZING! The price was high (I guess for someone who comes from Latin America like me 🤣), but it was worth it.
Read moreYou could also change the pizza base to glutenfree like I did 🤩. The vegan one was made up of a kind of carrot sauce, with dehydrated tomato and artichokes.
Simply delicious.
Pros: Innovative, Delicious, You can see how they prepare your pizza

Real Italian pizza with good Vegan options - Edit
I go often to eat at Sano Pizza, all the pizza’s chefs are Italians, and the make a really Neapolitan style pizza. There are always a Vegan option that change almost every month. This time there was a Vegan pizza with Carrot cream, semi-dried red cherry tomato, grilled artichoke, walnuts&parsley and I liked a lot. Also they have the vegan cheese option that you can add in any pizzas.
Read moreI went here with my colleagues, since I’m the only one vegan, I really appreciate and enjoyed the fact that they offered a vegan options.
Also I love pizza and I eat a lot and so I tried 2 pizza the vegan one and the vegetarian with the vegan cheese.

This place in Dublin makes authentic Italian pizza and I love how accessible and informal the dining experience is in this place. The vegan cheese alternative they use is very good. Recommended!

Amazing taste - Edit
There were only a few options but the bases are sourdough (naturally vegan) and you can swap out cheese to vegan cheese on any of the pizzas. We had the vegan specific option which had carrot cream, artichoke, tomatoes, walnuts. And the vegetarian with vegan cheese. Incredibly tasty and would highly recommend both.

Good pizza - Edit
The pizza was very good and the staff was friendly. It wasn't too expensive, 12€ for the vegetarian. There are lots of veggie toppings you can add with additional cost. They also have a vegan dessert and everything is clearly labeled when it comes to allergens.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza - Edit
Our favourite pizza in Dublin. Perfect dough (naturally vegan) and great choice of fresh ingredients. Personally, I don’t like vegan ‘cheese’ they use but I prefer pizza with no cheese anyway. Highly recommend!

they now have vegan cheese - Edit
Good pizza place in Dublin City centre. Now serving vegan mozzarella and vegan dessert.
Read moreHowever, they charge 1.75 euro extra for vegan cheese. Completely unacceptable in 2022. Theyre saving money by taking the dairy mozzarella off so either is cheap dairy cheese or they need a new vegan cheese supplier with better prices.

Very delicious and special vegan pizza - Edit
Very authentic. They had only one vegan pizza but that one was very tasty and special. You can choose a non vegan pizza and can make it vegan if you ask for vegan cheese. We will definitely come back.

Simple but tasty - Edit
The options are limited, but clearly defined on the menu. The vegan pizza is simple but I found it really, reall good, specially the crema porcini and the doufh. The place is cozy and they serve you really quickly. They also have a vegan dessert wich is cool (didnt try it though).

Delicious with a fair price - Edit
I love Sano's pizza! When I turned vegan I used to order only the Marinara, now they have 1 vegan special flavour, but you can also turn any of the other flavours into a vegan option! My favourite was the Vegetarian (roasted vegetables) with vegan cheese, very tasty! I realized you can actually have other options just asking to leave out the meat and asking for vegan cheese. Really recommend it!

Great quality but vegan options could be better - Edit
I loved Sano pizza when I was a veggie but since I went plant-based there's nowhere near as much for me here. I recently ordered a veggie pizza with garlic and was put off by the volume of 'cheeze' that they put on the pizza. They do also have a pizza with marinara sauce on it (nothing else) but really I'd like to see more places offer cheese-free pizza options with roasted veg and other healthier, more creative toppings. I deducted a point for the garlic bread - it was burnt and honestly barely tasted like garlic at all, which was disappointing as I know Sano is a great spot.

Great inexpensive Pizza - Edit
Sano is easily one of the best “pizzeria” in Dublin - when you stumble upon a place where half of the staff and half of the clients are Italian you know you’ve find a good one.
Read moreUnfortunately they don’t have a lot of vegan options, but you can sub dairy for vegan cheese and ask for any toppings on any pizza. I had the Margherita with vegan cheese, and while the pizza/base was great I was not a fan of the cheese, but that might be just me (I still have to find one I enjoy).
This mean that the next time I’ll go I’ll just have a Marinara instead, which does not have cheese at all.
Pros: Great pizza, Inexpensive for Dublin , All their bases are Vegan
Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, No vegan dessert
