Very good Pho

I had the spicy Pho Soup and loved it. Biggest chunks of Tofu inside!!!
And the flavor was great.

Might come back to try the Bahn Mi.

Pros: Great Pho, Friendly Staff

Lunch at Sandwich Saigon

Had their noodles, Vietnamese style and was delicious. Need to request for no alliums, some soup base contain garlic powder, best to check with staff when ordering.

Pros: Lots of variety, Delicious Vietnam Food, Freshly made

Cons: A little pricy around $12 per dish, Contains alliums, need special requests to remove

Converted to Fully Vegetarian

Sandwich Saigon used to serve meat but has recently become fully vegetarian in Feb 2023! Almost everything can be made allium-free, as alliums are usually only added at the end of the dish preparation. Apart from the cheese sandwich, all dishes are vegan by default unless you add-on eggs or cheese. There are more whole-food dishes featuring mushroom and tofu, as well as plant-based alternatives such as 'chicken', 'luncheon meat', 'tuna', etc. Some drinks contain dairy and/or honey, but they also have an oat milk option.

Do note that there is Buddhist chanting/music playing softly in the background at the shop. Apart from this shop at East Coast Road, they also have a cloud kitchen concept at Bistro Bytes within i12k Katong shopping mall a few minutes' walk away.

Good Vietnamese sammies 🥪

Clearly marked plant based/vegan and vegetarian options. Quite a selection of items to choose from and good service.

Ate their BBQ banh mi and tofu-mushroom spring rolls. Both were delicious!

My favourite vegan bahn mi

My go to place for bahn mi in the East Coast. Love the flavour of the mushrooms and tofu, the bread is very crispy and fragrant. Their cold rolls are delicious too, using the same mushroom and tofu but a little on the expensive side

Not the Best

I came here with some friends. The sandwiches are just a little veg on bread with a few slices of tofu. Not much taste wise. They don't really try to make veggi food. They just take out all the non veg seasoning, but sadly they don't replace it with anything.

If you have another option for food, I'd suggest you take it.

Cons: Not very good, No real effort made

Several vegetarian options& decent taste

Their vegetarian options include sandwiches , rolls, mushroom & tofu salad , Vietnamese veg rice, noodles .
Sadly all their phos are on chicken stock ... even the one with mushroom & tofu which makes no sense.

Pros: Several vegetarian options

Cons: No vegetarian pho
