In der Bestellkarte vor Ort sind die veganen Gerichte gelabelt. Insgesamt ganz in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Beim Kuchen bekamen wir ein Stück das direkt an einem unveganen Kuchen stand und schon dessen Farbe an der ganzen Seite angenommen hatte.

I think quirky is the best description! It was hot when we were there in September so we sat outside, which even the wasps thought was very pleasant. What we had was tasty and very good value but more choice for vegans would have been better.
Read moreOpening and closing the toilet door wasn't intuitive and the ordering system was erratic: far too easy to order twice and some items weren't listed so we had to go inside to order, which seemed to confuse the staff even more than us.
Nevertheless we went at least 4 times during the 6 days we were in Quedlinburg and were happy to support the ethos of the organization.
Pros: Pleasant outside seating in a quiet yard, good-value tasty food, the ethos of the organization
Cons: erratic ordering system, didn't always get what we'd ordered first time, system for opening and closing the toilet door

We stayed at the Samocca hotel and they offer a really nice vegan breakfast (maybe just for hotel guests). They give you a list to choose drinks from (oat milk).

Die Auswahl ist echt groß. Ich habe das Thai Curry gegessen. Es war lecker, man darf aber kein Curry wie beim Asiaten erwarten;)
Read moreDanach habe ich einen veganen Apfelkuchen und einen Schoko Kaffee mit Hafer Milch getrunken. Es gab auch noch einen veganen Schoko Brownie. Ich war an einem Dienstag um 16 Uhr dort.
Dir Terrasse ist wunderschön und groß und man hat einen schönen Ausblick.
Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Man kann via Tablett oder Handy bestellen und das Essen wird dann an den Tisch gebracht.

Inclusivity from lovely terrace - Edit
Samocca is clearly a place that values accessibility (with adapted toilet and walkways at the terrace) and inclusivity (employing people with special needs). The furniture in the adjacent hotel is even made by the employees to learn woodworking skills.
Read moreThe indoor garden/terrace was surprising, as we even did see the indoor sitting area first, as you have to pass the store and the coffee roasting area. But it is worth exploring, the terrace is large and also offers a sand pit.
Ordering works through a tablet which is provided, which seems a bit distant but all allergies and vegan meals are clearly indicated. The menu is not completely the same as outdoors, so check their website, which also links the current menu where you can order from to get an idea. There was the hummus bagel for only 3,5€ and the falafel burger. Both were tasty and fresh but we preferred the burger. There was also vegan brownie, which we didn't try.

Read moreGut gefallen hat uns auch, dass das Café mit der Lebenshilfe zusammen arbeitet. Die Dinge laufen nicht 100%ig rund, aber im Grunde sehr gut. Ein klein wenig muss man sich aber einstellen.

Es wird Hafermilch als Option im Kaffee angeboten und die veganen Speisen sind auf der Karte gekennzeichnet. Bin sehr zufrieden.
