We visited Sammy’s on our last day in Berlin, which turned out to be a good move! The array of donuts is great, and it’s hard to stop at just one!
Read moreThe place was packed when we went, with a lively, bustling vibe. I had a little anxiety about ordering, but honestly it was very easy.
My partner had the ‘deluxe’, Carrot Cake donut, which I am told was, “bougie”!🍩
As a Biscoff addict, I had to have the Biscoff donut, which had a super creamy filling.
It was all great, so definitely worth a visit.

This place is excellent, as others have commented I'm not sure why it's not marked as a vegan place and possible to give five stars because when I went there I asked and I was told everything they offer is vegan! (But maybe they just meant all the donuts are vegan? Not everything else?) It has a cute ambiance and they have so many great options, the donuts I tried were absolutely delicious. Salted caramel was my favorite! Bicoff Lotus a close second. The Bienenstich one tasted exactly like Bienenstich cake and the raspberry one reminded me of a Berliner/Kräppel, very tasty. I'd definitely go there again, as other comments have said I agree the donuts here are better than Brammibal's. Just the prices are a bit high but as expected from such unique vegan donuts.

I don't know why it's not possible to give five stars?! All the baked goods were vegan, at least the day I was there. I had a donut with vanilla cream filling as well as a cinnamon roll. Both were excellent- the best donut I've had so far. When in Berlin, go there and forget about Brammibal's😉

Absolutely fantastic doughnuts with so many vegan options! There are more classics flavors, premium flavors, and more cake-like creations. The gentleman who helped me was so nice, too! I got two different doughnuts, but I ate the one before I got a picture of it. Both were outstanding.

The vegan options in this store are to die for?!🤩 The Lotus donut is amazing and only thinking about the filling makes my mouth water!🤤 We’re also big fan of the other vegan flavours! If we ever go back to Germany we would 100% stop here again. 🍩 The service was also amazing and the staff so sweet! ✨

El sitio es muy cuqui y la mayor parte de las berlinas que venden son veganas, me daba miedo que estuvieran un poco secas, como suele ser la mayoría de la repostería vegana al final, pero para nada, como recién hecho. Las de Biscoff muy top. Todas las opciones veganas están marcadas con un puntito verde y también se pueden hacer veganas todas las bebidas y cafés. Merece la pena visitarlo para desayunar o la merienda.

Aber in der Auslage waren sooo viele tolle Kuchen, die man leider nicht probieren kann.. Auch ist ca. 2h vor Ladenschluss die Auswahl auf nur noch ca. 3 Sorten Donuts beschränkt gewesen - also kommt lieber während der ersten Hälfte der Öffnungszeit!!
Read moreDie Donuts sind saftig und der Special Chocolate war mit Abstand der Kracher (von dem, was wir noch bekommen hatten..) Der Pancake Donut und der Pistacchio waren dagegen einfach nur Teig mit ein bisschen Glasur.
Der Creme Brulee ist sehr interessant gewesen... Würde man dazu noch leicht saure Früchte oder eine leicht säuerliche Fruchtsoße darüber geben, wäre der relativ milde Pudding noch besser ergänzt - wie beim klassischen Panna Cotta!
Das Personal war etwas langsam und eher nur englischsprachig, wodurch es kurz Verständigungsschwierigkeiten gab, aber dann bekamen wir alles wie gewünscht.
Außerdem war es ganz schön gut besucht, also plant genügend Zeit ein!

The vegan donuts here are really delicious! They have a nice selection of interesting flavors as well. Much tastier than the hyped Brammibal’s which I find dry and overly sweet. Sammys donuts have that wonderful chew that a good donut has!

When I went there the other day they had six vegan donut varieties and one or two cakes. I tried all of the donuts and one cake. The cake was pretty good, a cherry crumble cake. The donuts were all good but my favourites are the more plain ones, either with no filling or the classic Berliner with jam filling (either plum or strawberry).
Read moreIn my opinion, a donut is only as good as the dough, and here I've finally found vegan ones that really satisfy me. Nice and puffy with a little bit of chew, a bit fatty like it should be. Compare that with the much-hyped Brammibal's, where the dough is too dry with no chew, (over)loaded with sugary toppings. It will be only Sammy's for me from now on!

One of the best donuts I’ve ever had - Edit
Dropped in here after walking past and seeing labeled vegan donuts on display in the window, and I went for the cinnamon sugar donut. Unbelievably fresh tasting? It must’ve just come out, and the inside was a doughy, airy, but still light interior that was moist with a little bit of chew. Just that perfect somewhere between bread and cake consistency, full of flavor, and just amazing.
