Latin American Grandeur - Edit
A phenomenal place in which to have a pint of Guinness with good company. Lively and colourful with friendly vibes.

Great chilli bowl - Edit
Service was incredibly slow, but I really enjoyed my chilli bowl and it seems compared to other Belfast restaurants £11.50 for it was reasonable. Also 2 for £12 cocktails happy hour is a great deal.

I ordered the vegan burrito, but was served a veggie one with real cheese. - Edit
When it arrived, the burrito had a “veggie” flag, so I asked the server if it was definitely vegan. She said yes.
Read moreAt first I didn’t notice any cheese, but halfway through I realised it was melted inside — and it tasted sickenly real.
I raised this with the bar staff, who brought over the manager. He took it to check with the chef and came back saying the chef was “almost certain” it was vegan cheese, and that their vegan cheese is very high quality and realistic.
He offered to bring me a new one and refund the meal, and insisted on giving me a free pint — which felt like they were trying to smooth things over rather than actually acknowledging the mistake.
The second burrito came with a “vegan” flag, and the cheese was clearly vegan this time — unmelted and with the distinct taste and texture.
I’m allergic to dairy, and the next day my skin flared up — a clear sign the first one was not vegan.
I understand mistakes happen, but this was handled very poorly. I would’ve much preferred they just admitted the error instead of brushing it off with vague reassurances and a beer. This kind of handling is dangerous for people with allergies and shows a lack of care when it comes to dietary requirements.
They do actually have quite a decent vegan selection on the menu it’s a shame they are so careless.

Plenty of vegan options and original cocktails - Edit
They had lots of vegan options and a lot of things could be made vegan. We had two mains, nachos and two cocktails and it came to £33 as we hit some kind of deal which took £22 off the bill. Also noticed you could get certain mains and a drink for £8 before 5pm Monday -Friday so seems really good value if you hit certain deals.

Fair enough for a mixed group with non vegans - Edit
They have few vegan options and some other dishes can also be adjusted to be vegan (like the sharing nachos). All in all it was good, but maybe pricey for the amount offered.
Read moreOne annoying thing is the fact they included a 10% tip in your bill as a default for a nonexistent service. Knocking one star off because of this.
