Well a lucky spot, as we in Whitstable, great decor, staff very friendly and the vegan choices good, I had the Revival Buddha bowl which was very tasty. Thank you 😊 🙏

Gem of a cafe in the high street - Edit
We really enjoyed our lunch at Revival - what a find! Lovely welcoming place, fun decor and ambience and delicious food which as a vegan was most appreciated. Luckily we visited on Friday which is the “tofish & chips special” day, but several other dishes looked very tempting. It’s clearly much more than just a cafe as there’s lots of info about well-being and mental health, and we thought the “pay it forward” idea was great. Wish I lived a bit nearer but will happily return if I’m in Whitstable again, and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Options for everyone - Edit
I looove this place. The whole menu is vegetarian but you can request the vegan version of almost every dish. I have been 3 times and recommend each dish - Gyros, Loaded Nachos and The Full Revival (full English breakfast - my favorite so far!). Milkshakes and smoothies are amazing and there is always freshly baked cakes at the counter which I am yet to try (always way to full up to try one!). The staff are so kind and patient and always willing to recommend dishes if you’re overwhelmed with choice. There is always amazing sounding specials. The decor is sooo cosy and beautiful and they have a live DJ who plays the best music but never too loudly so you can still sit and have a chat😄

Lovely lunch. - Edit
Lunch was ok. However, I really did not enjoy the gluten-free burger bun at all . This was our second visit. Nice atmosphere and friendly service 👌

Friendly cafe - Edit
Found this place as we wandered by window shopping and was delighted to see it didn't serve any meat. The vegan Arancini balls were delicious but unfortunately the lemon sponge wasn't due to tasting like oil. Partner enjoyed the Italian Bruschetta due to it being covered in a whole punnet of perfectly ripe cherry tomatoes but also felt the same about the sponge cake. Very friendly staff and interesting decor.

Good vegan menu - Edit
Lovely staff, great menu but small portions! We ate here during the gov ‘eat out to help out’ campaign otherwise we’d have felt very poor value for money. I had budda bowl which was tasty and hubby had loaded fries which he said was good but was a tiny portion!

Amazing - Edit
Staff were so friendly and the amount of vegan options was very impressive. My friend who I came with has a gluten allergy and most of the meals on the vegan menu had a gluten feee option. Such a great little social enterprise and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Poor service but good cheap food if you are willing to wait - Edit
Lots of vegan options at this vegetarian ice cream parlour and cafe. Great for kids. Needs better management- you can wait for an hour for food in an empty restaurant and then they realise they haven't asked the kitchen to make it.... (service problems on over 3 visits) the staff just need better direction and training and this place would be a gem.

Lovely retro cafe with a nice backyard seating area.
Read moreGreat options for vegans - food includes breakfast such as avacado or scambled tofu on toast, and then pancakes, soups, nachos, burgers...in fact, most of the menu can be made vegan, and they have vegan cheese, coleslaw, icecream.
They have a record player in the cafe and you can even bring your own music for them to put on (or request music)!
Revival is run by Mind, a mental health charity, and they have a Pay It Forward scheme, where customers donate the cost of a meal for those who might need a meal for free.
Lovely, friendly people working there, dogs allowed in yard...what's not to like about this place?!

This place is more casual than Potato Tomato - it's got a jolly ice cream shop vibe. Staff were very friendly. I had a yummy mushroom crepe, and milkshake. Will certainly go again.
