Read moreVisited this place on a Sunday lunchtime and it was pure chaos. Easily a couple hundred people seated including outside and offers takeout too.
We managed to get a seat inside and the table wasn’t especially clean (but not filthy) most likely due to the sheer volume of people that come through here. They play generic poppy/dancey music and there’s not a huge vibe going on. But it’s not horrible by any means, just a place with a huge turnover of people keeping it as simple as they have to to cope with demand.
We did wait half an hour for our food and were starting to get hangry but once it arrived we cheered right up. This is pure junk food but it was a nice treat on our last day.

Was dying to eat làngos again and was stoked to find the vegan version, tasted just like the regular one. Service was fast and we were able to sit inside. I'll be back here again for sure.

Nice place to try a vegan version of the traditional Hungarian langos. When we asked, they offered us the vegan langos but also said they can make the vegetarian langos vegan (so with different 'toppings' than the typical vegan one). Was very tasty!

The only place we found that had vegan langos, it was nice to try this traditional food in a vegan version. Sadly there is only one option, but my hungarian friend said that it’s the only version that counts and is traditional. Very touristic place, so it’s always full

We tried their vegan sour cream and cheese lángos, with garlic on top and it was absolutely delicious. Tasted 100% like the real thing.
Read moreSome of the reviews here seem to not understand how lángos works - lángos is just a base and you can add whatever toppings you’d like on it. The menu is just a recommended list of combinations, so ignore that there’s only 1 vegan option listed, as you can customise lángos as much as you’d like. If you’d like some veggies on top, just ask - they offer spicy pepper, bell pepper, onions etc.

I love lángos! Had my first one in 2014 on my first visit to Budapst. The retró lángos was a tiny kiosk with only 2 small tables but always a long queue of people because is absolutely delicious! Now they moved to a bigger place so there are indoor and outdoor tables, toilets, and a huge list of lángos options. Only one vegan which is the classic lángos, with vegan sour cream and vegan cheese! Was amazing! The dough is also less oily but is a bit small than before. However totally worth a visit!
