Try the mango-matcha „cheesecake“ - Edit
We had such a lovely experience here! The bread with hummus, pickled cucumber, and dill was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start. For dessert, we enjoyed two amazing vegan cheesecakes – one with a mixed berry filling and another with a delicious mango matcha flavor. Both were absolutely delightful. The service was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable.

Retro cafe made definitely a good impression. Nice interior with comfy armchairs and sofas. They have multiple vegan sweet options for food (porridge, cakes and deserts) but only single savory option (open sandwiche with vegan pate and gherkin- very tasty). Good coffe. Bonus points for toys and children books available for those visiting with babies/children.

Many vegan options: porridge with toppings of one's choice, two kinds of granola, sandwiches, cakes. Everything we tried was great. Excellent coffee, too. We also loved the retro decor. Perfect place for an evening out, too, because of the long opening times. Plenty of vegan cakes (great ones!).

We ordered soup and the vegan sandwich, the waitress was helpful and friendly. We also ordered some cake which was amazing, huge portion! Music and atmosphere was also really lovely and cosy.

The coffee is very cosy. There are several vegan cakes that are extremely delicious. Oat milk costs 0.01 zloty extra, which is less than 1 cent. The coffee is really good. There is also a huge selection of teas. Definitely a recommendation.

Went here several times during my vacation in Gdańsk, mostly because of the very good coffee - but also because they always have several vegan cakes. Some are better than others, but all are decent. The sandwich with a hearty spread was really tasty, though.

I've tried 4 different cakes & breakfast during my visit in Gdansk. Chocolate fudge loaf & Monte millet, Chocolate & raspberry, rafaello cake. Everything was so gooood. They have alot of vegan options, it was easy to find something that u could eat because everything is well labled. Gluten free, Vegan, Bio, without white sugar etc. Nice staff, cosy atmosphere.

I believe there was a vegan option in every section of the menu and they do slightly more traditional options. I had the vegan pate and pickle sandwich with an oat milk latte. So nice that I went back again!

It's not possible to give 5* which is not fair. We went there from Pikawa (listed here as vegetarianen), where they had no vegan options. Fortunately they recommended Retro. We found here the most delicious vegan cake we have ever eaten (unfortumately they didn't want to share the recipe).
