Lovely little gem! - Edit
All items they had - Indian and Italian and salad - were really tasty! Luckily tried a bit of everything. And cheap too! I was worried that everything would be spicy because of my kid who doesn’t like that but there was only one spicy dish clearly marked so. Also helpful staff.

Es un buffet al peso con buen precio y con descuento para estudiantes de eslovenia. Todo es vegano y hay varias opciones y todo lo que probamos estuvo 10/10. El chico atendiendo también es muy majo y además el sitio no es caro aún si no tienes el descuento de estudiante.

100% vegan, Indian style mostly - Edit
Simple vegan cafeteria, open unril 17.00. Trays, self-service, pay-per-weight (if you take big plates or bowls and fill them up, it can quickly get pricey). Rich salad bar and two different desserts are the same every day while soup and main dishes change daily. Plenty of space in and out. No view though, as the restaurant is located one level below ground but the outside seating area is partly on the open air. Friendly staff. Quite tasty food, mostly Indian style.

I don't have high expectations for buffet food but was pleasantly surprised by Mandala. The food was seasoned well, not oily, and there was a nice variety to choose from. It was also my most affordable meal in Lljubljana at just under €9!

My favorite place in Ljubljana - Edit
Mandala is a vegan buffet/cantina kind of restaurant, run by the local Hare Krishna community. The food offered here is superb. Varied, fresh, healthy and tasty. You pay for the weight of your plate and if you’re on a budget trip, Mandala is the perfect place to go.

This is a lovely place to eat. It’s a self service buffet where you weigh your food at the till- you can choose hot or cold dishes or both and soup and dessert.

I made an Israeli friend whilst at a vegan cafe. We met up again and again around the city. One of our stops was this place, which up to that point, had eluded my maps, for I could not find it. When I tell you this buffet-styled restaurant was soooo worth the wait. The prices are great, they have drinks, desserts, coffee and tea, as well as weighing in order to pay for cost. The energy is so sweet and kind in there. You will not be disappointed by the vibe or delights!

Locale self service con prezzi al kg, noi siamo stati per una merenda nel pomeriggio e abbiamo preso una crepe con cioccolato e cocco e una fetta di dolce, con una bottiglia di kombucha e un bicchiere di succo. I dolci hanno un prezzo specifico, al contrario del salato che costa a peso. La proprietaria è molto gentile nello spiegare come funziona.

Really good salad bar. A solid option for fresh, vegan food. We got 2 salads and 2 plates of mains and it came to €29 for both. More expensive than I expected, but it was still nice.

They had crepes, rice, salads, curry, fritters, among other tasty selections when we went there. Everything was reasonably priced (the amount you pay is based on the weight and type of food). The ones we tried were tasty. And the service was good!
